Re: Tired of Deleting SB and my info still showing...

As soon as I log into gmail and log out of gmail, then delete sandboxie-chrome contents.. restart the sandboxie-chrome-browser, chrome will ask to restore tabs.
This is the expected behavior if you have google Synch enabled.

Re: Tired of Deleting SB and my info still showing...

What really worries me, is how much info SB leaving behind and is there for any site with bad intentions to freely grab. I expect when I am using an SB-Chrome session and delete Contents that EVERYTHING IN THAT SESSION IS WIPED CLEAN! NO previously logged in email session prompts and NO requests to...

We just got a new signing certificate. It causes problems in Win 10 if you have Secure Boot enabled in your BIOS. We are investigating what needs to be done to rectify.

Re: Blue Screen of Death - Win 7 x64 + Sbie 5.23.3

The DMP shows exactly where the error is coming from. But I don't see how Sandboxie is getting into this state. This is a section of code that has not changed in the entire 5 years that Invincea/Sophos has owned the code. And we've never had a crash reported in this section. The only difference is 5...

Re: 5.23 Beta Available (latest version 5.23.3)

Due to the huge mess MS created with the C Runtime Libraries in VS 2015, we are now linking them in statically instead of using the DLLs.

Re: Autodesk - updated Visual C++ now no programs run in SB

Starting in Beta 5.23.2, Sbie no longer uses the MSVC 2010 run-time DLLs. The MSVC 2015 libraries are statically linked in. So this problem should no longer exist.

Nothing on the https://www.sandboxie.com website (or, for that matter, this forum that I could find) mentions anything about this. Is this being addressed? When will it be fixed?

Re: Sandbox escape by Specter and Meltdown?

They are now saying that it can be exploited also from web pages, and both chrome and firefox are vulnerable. So the question comes back: will sandboxing the browser protect from a web exploit of this type, which steals data from memory? We are still investigating these issues. Since these are hard...

Re: Software which wants to creat raw socket cannot run

Sandboxie shouldn't be blocking creation of a raw socket.

You must be in the admin group to create a raw socket. Are you running as admin? Are you using drop admin rights?
