Yea; requested this one myself, but like tzuk said, way too much out of the scope for SBIE. Still, in my case, if it wasn't for the idiotic way Yahoo and AT&T work together, I wouldn't need this. Takes time to rebuild the additional sandbox each time I launch it, but I either put up with that or jus...

Haven't posted here in a little while, but had to say I agree with Page42 (if you ever decide to do a commercial tzuk). I'm still using it in my XP VM though, but soon, when IE9 HTML 5.x begins to be required, I'll have no choice but to either use Ubuntu (and I'm sure the latest Firefox will be able...

Well my last VM recovery point was last December and the browse function worked properly. I updated to the current version of Sandboxie and I have the problem again. Not sure what changed between the version I had in December (wish I noted the version but didn't think about it at the time; just got ...

I'm using Virtual Box to Host my XP VM and installed Sandboxie inside my VM to protect it. Yes, Virtualbox itself is run inside my Win7 64-bit OS and I use XP to protect it. I know that Sanboxie now has some support for Win7 64-bit, but tzuk said himself he can not 100% protect a 64-bit OS but can X...

When choosing the Run any Program option and get the pop up windows to Browse, when you click the Browse button, nothing happens. That's the issue. If I type the program into the box it will launch, but that's a tedious way when browse is much better for me. Can't show a non event unfortunately. No ...

Browse when trying to run any program doesn't work.
Use Sandboxie 3.54 in XP VM (so 32-bit). Anyway, just noticed this recently, but when I try the run any program feature and browse, the browse doesn't work (I can copy/paste the path and that works and the program executes but this is not how I would like to use this feature). Not sure when this iss...

Thanks cool tzuk. Again, my main motivation is having multiple email sessions up since Yahoo mail and AT&T mail can not co-exist without using something like Sandboxie and I like to peruse my various emails, but I don't like the pushed ads that they continuingly do which take some bandwith and stuff...

Pause a Sandbox.
I like running several Sandboxies concurrent (thanks in part to Yahoo/ATT merger), but would like to not have to close a sandbox but to Pause one and then re-animate as necessary in order to reduce resourses when not actively using a sandbox; a dorment feature if you will. Everytime I launch a Sandb...

I do exactly this (main OS is Win7 64-bit with 6Gs of RAM and I run Sandboxie in an XP VM with Virtualbox). I created a share between by XP VM and Win7 so, if needed, I can copy files to my Win7 (never, well very very rarely, browse in Win7). I do this since tzuk said he couldn't 100% protect a Win7...

That's cool tzuk; the site that I linked is not infected (just clarifying). The site I linked is an image that I rendered and I linked the site where I got the source image from and it's that site that is (I will never knowingly create a direct link to an infected site). Unfortunate that that site i...

As long as your Sandbox is active, any program running inside that Sandbox will be active; if it has a phone home feature, then damage could be possible. That's why you should frequently delete your Sandbox (I do exactly that). The good news is that the OS itself will be protected, but still you do ...
