SBIE2336 only on "Forced Programs"
Hi, is there any technical difference between running an application in sandbox with " Send to > Sandboxie - xxx " and using the " Force Program " feature? The background of my question is this thread . Sandboxie still behaves erroneous on the ASUS T100TA on its default configuration when running an...

Re: PDF-XChange Viewer crashes when using the search functio
Just out of idle curiosity -- since PDFXchange is completely portable, why are you guys running it inside SBIE? For security reasons? (PDF exploits??) Yes, "PDF exploits" are the main reason for me to use PDF-XChange Viewer in Sandboxie. Btw. I won't expect any exploit for a 3rd-party PDF reader wi...

Re: 4.09 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.10 Release Candida
@WongKit: What I do is copy firefox.exe to another name in the same folder, such as firefox2.exe. Then one sandbox in Sandboxie.ini has "ForceProcess=firefox.exe", and another sandbox has "ForceProcess=firefox2.exe". This allows me configure the two sandboxes differently. For example, different Fir...

Re: 4.09 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.10 Release Candida
Hi WongKit, you should use the Force programs feature to force Firefox. You are not supposed to use Force folders to sandbox a program like Firefox. Bo Hi Bo, "Force programs" will not allow me to chose a specific application by its full path. It will match every program that is named firefox.exe w...

Re: 4.09 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.10 Release Candida
What user name is process SbieSvc.exe running under? SbieSvc.exe is running as SYSTEM user. I just noticed that I only get the error when running Firefox in Sandboxie using the "Force Folder" rule. When I rightclick on the application and select "Sent to > Sandboxie", everything works fine! System ...

PDF-XChange Viewer crashes when using the search function
Hi there, I just want to report a minor compatibility problem with PDF-XChange Viewer Portable. If you run the current version in a sandbox, open a .pdf-file and search for a text that does not exist within the document, PDF-XChange Viewer Portable crashes with the following error message: SBIE2205 ...

I have mixed feelings about the acquisition, but that's completly subjectiv as I do not know Invincea. I was never really active here, except for some bug reports, but I am excessively using Sandboxie for more than 2 years. Sandboxie is the most valuable software on my computer to me. Anyway, thank ...

This is shown in the job tab http://i.imagebanana.com/img/duajufi4/sandboxiejob.png The sandboxie "Start.exe" looks the same when throwing the error message. I can not send you my T100, but I could offer you a remote access w...
