This is so weird. I've done clean chrome install, clean profile. It seems sometimes x64 Chrome is installed, sometimes x86... Hardware acceleration issue is Chrome x64 specific. What web pages have broken fonts? If you lower rights via sandboxie GUI to non-admin, most of web pages don't display text...

Disabling hardware acceleration for Chrome x64 fixes this broken window I posted above. Adding those two lines fixes crash but Chrome x64 looks like that:
(the same result is without those two lines when you run chrome using vista compatibility mode)
