@Carlos, I gave X-DVD Styler, but experienced the same problem. Thanks for the suggestion.

@tzuk, correct...you have to add a video file, then click the Burn icon, then select either burn or create .iso, then Start.

In the meantime, you might want to try the portable X-DVDStyler by winpenpack which is the same as DVDStyler by portablepps but with some differences in the form of some extra libraries and perhaps execution. Although I haven't tried the winpenpack version within Sandboxie, I remember that I used t...

I haven't heard an update, so I assume you haven't had a chance to look at this yet. As an fyi, dvdstyler fails to work properly in Sandboxie v 4.06.

Re: Automatically running programs in a specific sandbox

I would like to create separate sandboxes for specific programs/activities. I have created the individual sandboxes. Whenever I start one of these programs I am still presented with a list of sandboxes to select from. As the list grows, this seems troublesome as I could accidentally click the wrong...

Re: Online Banking

Does Sandboxie actually protect your online banking? Several articles say it does not. Sandboxie does not actually detect anything. So even if your browser is sandboxed and you get a banking trojan during that sandboxed session whats to say they cannot steal your info? I currently have Chrome with ...

Not to beat this issue to death, but to assuage any lingering concerns, tzuk says: " Windows System Tray Icons When a programs which is running under Sandboxie asks to place an icon in the system tray area, Sandboxie lets the program place the icon in the real system tray, which is typically located...

It doesn't really matter which media player you use, as long as you: - create a new sandbox to use with it (or them) - Appearance > uncheck "Display the border only when the mouse cursor is in the window title" - set the sandbox to auto-delete (the default delete command RMDIR should be fine) - unc...

Here's a critique of SecuBrowser. Looks like it's a mess...at least this (presumably) early version.

Ditto.

IMO, these types of events (security-related concerns expressed by reliable sources such as Buster and tzuk's sincere review and response) lend a lot of credibility to, and trust in, this product.

Re: newbie

Some installable apps require a system restart to 'complete' their install. When installing such an app in sandbox, what to do when prompted to "restart? Presumably, restarting the system will have no effect as app was installed in sandbox. You're right. Restarting your computer has no effect. In s...

OK. Thanks. As a reminder, and in case it's helpful, the problem occurs only on my XP 32 bit machine when running DVDStyler within a default sandbox. It does not occur on my Win7 64 bit machine running DVDStyler within a sandbox. (See first post.)
