Sandboxie Support

When using Firefox, all changes made during the session are saved. When using Opera, all changes made during the session are lost Even new bookmarks and passwords are lost. PLEASE help. I cannot accept losing all my work and Opera must be my default browser since Firefox are withdrawing support for ...

Would somebody please explain the basic difference between Sandboxie and other programs with sandboxes like browsers and AV's.

I have looked on the web but became totally confused. I am sure that somebody here can explain it simply without going into complex technical details.

Sbxie/Firefox had been working perfectly until I updated Firefox from 50.0.1 to 50.0.2. The error was then immediate.
