1) I uninstalled and reloaded Chrome. It flashed a SBIE2335 error message. Subsequent attempts to use Chrome were like the others - nothing happens.
2) I tried using Comodo Dragon. I installed it a few minutes ago. It appears to be working normally at this time. Sandboxed as default browser.

Re: Web browsers (only) not working
I have the same problem on two pcs. The first appeared a couple of days ago. The 2nd a few minutes ago. No browsers work in the sandbox although minor programs still sandbox. No error messages appear. Just a blue spinning circle then nothing. RegHive has a folder but nothing else. I Terminate all pr...

Re: Chrome - SBIE2101 Object name not found -(C0000022)
Chrome silently updated to a new version. This is what created the new problem. It just appeared on a laptop that had been working perfectly. Version 59.0.3071.36 (Official Build) (64-bit) Broken like the other now. To the good, Comodo Dragon works great. Firefox is sluggish to the point of distract...

Re: Chrome - SBIE2101 Object name not found -(C0000022)
Add this to the 'weird files'. SBIE2101 started appearing again on the 'fixed' laptop. Yesterday fine. Today What???. Nothing changed except it's a new day. Going to Firefox ... sluggish but working.

Re: Chrome suddenly not working in Sandbox
HiTechLover, Agree a clean install would probably be great but it's also a last resort since all profiles would have to be re-created from scratch. Do you know if a 'Windows Refresh' where the user files are retained would work? I will try it if I encounter more problems but insights from someone wi...

Re: Printing broken in 5.16 & 5.18
Binky, printing from inside the sandbox has always been, for me, a sometimes thing. Sometimes it works as expected, sometimes there's a message that may or may not signal a printer halt. What always works 100% of the time is print to the microsoft pdf driver to the desktop. Then print from it. I pri...

Re: Cannot make Internet Shortcuts by dragging web links
TimW, Sandboxed links dragged out don't work. You can, however, drag or otherwise create one on the desktop outside of the sandbox then wrap a sandbox around them like any other link you want to run sandboxed. I do that with a couple of sites that are a little iffy but I want direct access from the ...

Re: Chrome suddenly not working in Sandbox
The error in the original post "SBIE2101 Object name not found: , error OpenProcess (C0000022) access=001FFFFF initialized=1" is a complex issue caused, in this case, by delay loading of advapi32.dll. Windows CU changed something with how and when this DLL is loaded and it is creating a race condit...

Re: Chrome suddenly not working in Sandbox
Final post: I forgot to mention above that my bookmarks worked just fine after creating the new Windows user id. The moderator edit above made that unclear. The beat version referred in the post fixed the sandbox / chrome load problem. It did not fix the bookmark problem. Perhaps Curt can nail that ...

Re: Chrome suddenly not working in Sandbox
Hello coffeecup25, Glad to hear things are working now. Did you try to reinstall Chrome before creating a new user account? As for the bookmarks, make sure that you have the correspondent templates, also you can sign-in to Chrome to sync them. If the issue persists, please see this thread (you can ...

Re: Chrome suddenly not working in Sandbox
The chrome / sandboxie problem gets fixed if you create a new windows 10 user id and transfer / reload / copy / whatever your files into it. 5.19.2 fixed my returning problem of chrome not loading at all. Originally it failed after an update to Windows 10-64 pro creators. Updating to 5.18 did not fi...

Re: Chrome suddenly not working in Sandbox
Agree there's problems with chrome. They started after update to Win 10 pro 64 bit creators. I'm a long time user of Sandboxie. One pc our of 5 had problems. The problem of chrome not loading sandboxed occurred. A reload of Chrome and a reboot fixed it, eventually. Lots of other things were tried be...
