Re: 5.07 Beta Available (latest version 5.07.8)
I hadn't thought to only disable Chrome's protection in HitmanPro.Alert (easier/better way to go) but it looks to amount to the same thing. I'll stop looking for something strange on my computer now. Thanks.

Re: 5.07 Beta Available (latest version 5.07.8)
Did Hitman Pro install a Google extension? If so, try disabling that. No, it didn't install an extension. I have tried the following: Disabled the few extensions installed. Created a 'New Person' profile. Thoroughly uninstalled Chrome and then reinstalled it. Disabled all protections in Avira Pro (...

Re: 5.07 Beta Available (latest version 5.07.8)
Just tested Hitman Pro Alert, v3.1.7 Build 357 on Google Chrome v48.0.2564.109m (64) running SBIE Beta 5.07.8 (Win 10x64) with no issues thus far. Hard to know what can be different. This is a fairly new and clean installation of W.10, so should be OK. I can only say that I get the messages when st...

Re: 5.07 Beta Available (latest version 5.07.8)
Updated to 5.07.8. Getting the errors shown below when starting Chrome in Windows 10 Pro. Running HitmanPro.Alert3 as well looks to be the reason for this. Stop Hitman running in Windows Services and the problem goes away. HitmanPro.Alert is showing in Sandboxie's Software Compatibility list. SBIE22...

Re: Firefox not opening
I have uninstalled Avira and the problem still exists. I'm at a fairly early stage of installing programs on the OS and it wouldn't be too much trouble to start from scratch again, making sure that Firefox and Sandboxie are the first programs installed when the OS installation is complete. I read th...

Re: Firefox not opening
Thanks Bo - I have just tried the new sandbox suggestion to no avail. I previously tried turning off the various monitoring activities that Avira Pro does. This didn't help but perhaps just turning off isn't good enough. I'll have to try uninstalling it.

Re: Firefox not opening
Thanks for the reply - I deleted the contents of the sandbox, uninstalled Sandboxie and then reinstalled it. No difference unfortunately. I am trying to run Firefox sandboxed, rather than installing it in the sandbox. Tried doing this by: Right-clicking on the Firefox shortcut and choosing 'Run Sand...

Firefox not opening
Sandboxie 5.06 64-bit Windows 10 Pro clean and new installation. Firefox 42 Avira Pro 2015 Firefox will not display when opening sandboxed. No error messages and the processes are showing in the sandbox but the Firefox window does not appear. It opens OK outside of the sandbox. I have tried reinstal...

Re: 4.13 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.13.2)
I had trouble with the computer regarding the latest Windows Updates. A long story but I ended up reinstalling the Windows 8.1 OS and Firefox. I came here today to report that I now don't get the Photobucket problem.I'm only just up and running properly again to be able to come here and say this. I'...

Re: 4.13 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.13.1)
Photobucket isn't the only site where Firefox crashes when run sandboxed. For instance, our other computer (also Windows 8.1) has Sandboxie 4.12 installed. Firefox crashed in the same way when purchasing an item on the 'Create and Craft' site. All order details were filled in when it happened. It wa...

Re: 4.13 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.13.1)
Mart, can you confirm if you don't experience the problem if after clicking Browse, you upload from the desktop. And only experience it if you navigate away using File explorer. Bo I don't get that far Bo. Firefox freezes as soon as Photobucket's ' Choose photos and videos ' button is clicked. Caus...

Re: 4.13 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.13.1)
I have a couple of problems with Sandboxie 4.13.1: * Google Chrome won't terminate in the sandbox when the browser is closed. It has to be terminated using 'Terminate All Programs'. * Firefox crashes on certain sites. Uploading a photo to Photobucket will always do it. No problem when using Firefox ...
