Re: Buster Sandbox Analyzer

Hi Buster, it's a great pleasure to hear that you pay attention to the 64-bit injection. And regarding the 32-bit injection: I identified the problem. The SandBoxie Folder (e.g. DefaultBox) has to be created by Sandboxie itself, not by BSA. So when starting an analysis the Sandbox must not be empty....

Re: Buster Sandbox Analyzer

Hi Buster, thank you for the quick reply. So I reinstalled Sandboxie 3.76. But the problem persists. With injection of LOG_API64.DLL when I try opening Windows Explorer or saving a file in notepad the corresponding application crashes. Do you have and idea how the cause of this problem could be loca...

Re: Buster Sandbox Analyzer

Hi Buster, glad to hear that you resumed your Analyzer project. Now I gave Sandboxie with the collaboration of BSA another try. The configuration with LOG_API32.DLL works fine. But the injection of LOG_API64.DLL doesn't work when starting Windows Explorer sandboxed. Windows Explorer seems to crash b...

Thank you Buster for your answer. Instead of uninstalling numerous software (this would be very time consuming and the success is not guaranteed) I actually try to achieve the needed BSA-function by some batch programing (also some kind of time consuming  ). Coders like you are always PC-heroe...

This Sandbox Analyzer seems to be a nice add-on to Sandboxie. My intention of using Sandboxie in combination with BSA is making a backup of files before they get actually changed by an installer. Sadly I have some problems getting it to work properly. Here are some facts of my evaluating: 1. Under S...

Thank you very much. You made my day. :D

Created a new sandbox without including default values from DefaultBox and now it works great.

One little questions still left:
What is wrong with my DefaultBox? Should I now delete it or can I repare it (I want to keep the DefaultBox-setting)?

I tested program execution via Sandbox -> DefaultBox -> start webbrowser, program and internet explorer. Also I tried right-clicking a text document and selecting "start in sandbox".
(I have a non-english installation. So the text is most likely not exact.)

Again thanks for any hints.

First install for evaluation - problem starting processes

Dear support, after installing Sandboxie I tried to start notepad. But notepad didn't show up and in Sandboxie Control the process is called "Start.exe". I have tried with other programs but always the process is named "Start.exe". In contrast to that SandboxieRpcSs.exe and SandboxieDcomLaunch.exe d...
