Firefox briefly unresponsive: Anyone using SB Firefox?

Hi I'm using Windows Vista SP2 32 bit and I have avast internet security installed along with Sandboxie 3.61.05. I've ran Sandboxie for a few years now and I've noticed that when I leave firefox open for a long time (several days) with many tabs and then I try to open a new tab Firefox will hang mom...

Portable Firefox would spontaneously close before it could even start. I didn't look into it too much I just stopped running as a different user. Please consider some type of integration in sandboxie for running sandboxed programs as a different user. I think it would be a pretty cool feature.

I'm having other problems as well using that workaround. I suppose this would be better as a feature request. Allow sandboxie to run a process as another user.

Sandboxie will not find control if running as different user

On one system where I run Sandboxie I have an administrator account that I must use as my desktop. I prefer to run a few sandboxie programs as a limited user, and to do that what I am doing is something like this: PsExec.exe -u user -p password -d "C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\Start.exe" /box:mysandbo...

Thanks I'll upgrade. Does the fix you implemented have any downside, like does it make the sandbox less secure, etc?

If you change your sandboxie configuration to force an application to run in a specific sandbox and leave the application shortcut alone then it will not create a separate icon. Granted, this is not a solution but a workaround.

I think what the OP is referring to is the direct interaction with hardware that supposedly webgl allows.

Yeah I'm using a Gigabyte board too for my Vista system. Right now I switched back to FF. I like FF better anyway Opera is too quirky regardless if in or out of the sandbox. I was just thinking there could be order of DLL loading. I've seen that happen in some of my own programs. This is bugmenot2 b...
