I had the same problem in Admin account (but not in user account) but in Windows 2000. Of course, it could be coincidence, but if you have a user account installed, it could be useful to know if you encounter the same problem in that account or if, like me, it works.

3.21.15 - some problems in Windows 2000
I installed 3.21.15 over 3.20.01 in Windows 2000 (fully updated). Problems starting SB Control in Admin acct. In an Admin account, Sandboxie control does NOT start automatically on logon. However, in a User account Sandboxie control does start on logon. No problems seen when browsing in the User acc...

I think the failure to get Eraser to work in the user account is because my drive is compressed and, looking through posts on the Eraser forum, you need admin rights to delete a compressed file. Anyway, I can manually delete using CCleaner in the user account. Sorry to have wasted your time . It nev...

I've got to the point where I've now changed permissions to give Everyone full control over Eraserl.exe and over C:\Documents and Settings\........\Application Data\Sandbox for the User account, and still the Eraser Report pops up after closing the sandboxed application and says C:\Documents and Set...

Hi Paul, I've amended my previous post in line with the latest state of affairs. I must have gone round in a huge circle because I originally did copy and paste your command line - that was yesterday - my misreading of eraserl for eraser1 didn't matter then, only when I amended the line today. So no...

I now realise why I couldn't get it to work at first or find the file: I misread it as Eraser1.exe and not, as it should be: Eraserl.exe. Yes, I found it where you siad it should be. I've corrected the command line but now, on closing the last sandboxed application, in Admin accounts I get the Erase...

OK it's making a lot more sense now, thanks to your replies. I'm not well up on the use of command-line stuff and that was my first error. I've sorted that, I think, the corrected version being: "G:\Program Files\Eraser\Eraser.exe" -folder "%SANDBOX%" -subfolders -method random 1 -resultsonerror (Dr...

Hi Paul, I'd never given any thought to this topic, so this posting grabbed my interest. I followed your excellent instructions and installed Eraser. One thing I've noticed is that despite unchecking everything to do with Erasing Report in Eraser's preferneces, I keep getting Erasing Reports popping...

SBIE2318,DLL and SBIE2303 error messages
I've been running Sandboxie 3.21 for a couple of days on Windows 2000 Pro without any major problems. However, today, I did get an error message from Sandboxie - which is rare. Using sandboxed Internet Explorer, I visited http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/speed/software_pc/aspi/aspi_471a2_exe.htm to down...

No problems with 3.01.21
I've upgraded i.e. over-written my previous 3.01 version with the latest experimental version 3.01.21 and it appears to be working fine.

Good news, Ronen: I completely uninstalled version 2.86 and installed version 2.92.06. Outlook Express and Internet Explorer now open as quickly when sandboxed as they do unsandboxed. I've run for an hour or so now without any problems at all. So it seems your new version has solved this particular ...

Closed Paths - Approaches
I'm interested to learn how Sandboxie users make use of the Closed File and Key Path commands in Sandboxie.ini to suit their own needs. I appreciate it's a good idea to close read access to all personal files. But there must also be many files and registry contents that contain details of settings, ...
