From posts going way way back, programs like this typically have problems running sandboxed. Success rate is low.

Are you installing it on your host? Or directly into a Sb?

Sandboxie simply passes the driver through. If rolling back the driver works, then that is your work around . At this time, this is nothing on our end, but we will continue to monitor the posts. Delete the contents of your sandboxes and or create a new sandbox. As for Steam: We do not test any games...

It seems it's an issue with that driver.
As you can tell by the change logs here http://beta.sandboxie.com video drivers are not something we look at.

Sandboxie doesn't use them per se. It simply passes the driver on your host through to the application.
