Re: Please fix Chrome process cancelations due to QWAVEdrv [SOLVED]
This is now a problem for logging in to ebay as well, on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, and will not work unless qwave bypass is enabled.

Re: Please fix Chrome process cancelations due to QWAVEdrv [SOLVED]
Ok. As I mentioned it works fine in Windows 7 though, Sandboxie doesn't kill all the Chrome processes even if I don't allow direct access to that device.

Re: Please fix Chrome process cancelations due to QWAVEdrv
Yes that's probably what happened, thanks. In most of my sandboxes 'Allow direct access to Windows Font Cache' and 'Allow direct access to qWave driver (Google Hangouts)' are unchecked. New Sandboxes they are checked. I could check them but I still think Sandboxie should not kill the processes and s...

Re: Please fix Chrome process cancelations due to QWAVEdrv
In both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 using the same Sandboxie x64 version QWAVE is not enabled. I'm not sure why that is, I don't remember disabling it. In Windows 7 nothing bad happens, Sandboxie does not kill the chrome processes when I visit that website. In Windows 8.1 it does though.

Re: Please fix Chrome process cancelations due to QWAVEdrv
I didn't change any settings, I don't think. Regardless my opinion is the same, it shouldn't kill the browser. Here's a screenshot:

Please fix Chrome process cancelations due to QWAVEdrv [SOLVED]
Windows 8.1 x64, Sandboxie 5.20 x64, Chrome 59.0.3071.115 x64. Today I was searching for grilling tips in Chrome and Sandboxie killed all the processes when Chrome tried to access QWAVEdrv. SBIE2101 Object name not found: \Device\QWAVEdrv, error CreateFile (C0000022) access=00120089 initialized=1 SB...

Re: Crashes in notepad.exe, not sure if sandboxie is involved
I closed the first instance of Notepad and now I can no longer reproduce, I can open up notepads without a problem. So consider this closed for now.

Re: New forums with https support!
You can easily see all of them just search for: site:www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/ The problem is google still has the old URLs in the search results Also now that you have a new board is there a way that you can put the content of forum posts in the emails, like so I can receive a daily update for each ...

Re: Crashes in notepad.exe, not sure if sandboxie is involved
It's pretty weird. I'm tempted to just reboot but I'd like to find out what it is. Task Manager shows about 59,000 handles in use and in Process Explorer I can see most of those are Chrome. I'm not sure if that's too much. The USER and GDI handles aren't a lot though. It doesn't add them up but it o...

Re: New forums with https support!
What was your search string? I need it so I can see the same results. I don't remember the ones I used then. They're pretty easy to find though for example search google for sandboxie reghive.log1 click on the second link Please confirm that you are receiving emails now. Yes I'm receiving them now,...

A lot of Google web links no longer work
I'm not sure where to post this. I'm not putting it in problem reports since it's not about the program. A lot of google links to sandboxie's website no longer work when I google sandboxie stuff. The links have a format like `https://sandboxie.com/phpbb/` and the new working links have phpBB3 in the...

Crashes in notepad.exe, not sure if sandboxie is involved [CLOSED]
Since upgrading today to Windows 7 x64 with this month's latest updates, and Sandboxie 5.20 (from 5.19.3) I've been experiencing crashes whenever I try to open text files in notepad. I have one instance of notepad open successfully and every one after that crashes. I don't know if this has anything ...

Re: Disk thrashing in catroot while running Chrome
Barb I updated that computer to Sandboxie 5.18 and Chrome 58.0.3029.81 64-bit. Now I have another weird problem which may be related. Whenever I close chrome the processes linger in the sandbox for exactly one minute. During that time I can see lsass.exe eating CPU. I cannot reproduce it in any othe...

Re: [5.18] CreateObject, New-Object results in Access Denied
The 5.19 beta forum says "You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum."
The installers though follow a familiar pattern so you can find them here:
