Re: WIN 10 1703/1709 SB v 5.22 and Beta 5.23.3 Forced Folder Behavior
We do not push changes "overnight" to Sandboxie I know that. And thats why I wrote: So my prediction is, it changed because of an update for Windows. I'm just curious what caused this change of behavior. I can confirm that it wasn't the case "before"(until december 2017) and i would appreciate to h...

Re: WIN 10 1703/1709 SB v 5.22 and Beta 5.23.3 Forced Folder Behavior
Hello Barb. Folder inside forced folder---> \\yourpath\Folder1\Folder2 Excatly this is the case. If you launch Folder1 it will not open Sandboxed, but if you invoke Folder2 via explorer/bat/cmd it wil open Sandboxed as it is inside Folder1 (which is forced). I'm sure it wasn't like this before (~unt...

Re: WIN 10 1703/1709 SB v 5.22 and Beta 5.23.3 Forced Folder Behavior
Hello again. Sorry for the late response. Anyway here is the sandboxconfig. I had to remove the forcedfolder-paths due to company-restrictions. Same goes for usernames. [GlobalSettings] Template=WindowsRasMan Template=7zipShellEx Template=WindowsLive Template=OfficeLicensing ForceDisableSeconds=1800...

WIN 10 1703/1709 SB v 5.22 and Beta 5.23.3 Forced Folder Behavior
Hello everybody. There is a strange issue with the forced folders settings. If you open a forced folder on a networkshare (i.e. \\fileserver\newfolder) directly in windows explorer, the settings work as intended. Only the programs/files opened in the folder start sandboxed. If you open it with %syst...

Adobe Reader DC Quick Recovery [SOLVED]
Hello everybody. Problem: If you open a .pdf file with Adobe Reader DC from Firefox or MS Office Programs which run inside Sandboxie, there is an issue with saving the .pdf file. If you try to save it to a quick recovery folder the quick recovery message pops up, but after clicking any of the recove...

Re: Microsoft Office 2013 do not start in Sandbox after upda
Thanks!Try allowing direct file access to the file that's mentioned in Sandboxie message 2102. I never used Outlook but if it is the pst file that is mentioned in the SBIE message, thats the file you need to allow direct access to.

Re: Microsoft Office 2013 do not start in Sandbox after upda
I can confirm that it is fixed in version 5.14. It's true that the software will start but if you use the outlook calender event reminder, the popup window is empty, can't be closed and hinders outlook to work properly. Though it's not fixed at all. The next thing is, that now the settings to migra...

Re: SBIE uses wrong attachment [OUTLOOK2010]
Its me again. I have found the issue regarding this problem by trying to reproduce it. It has something to do with network shares. If you do this on your local hard drive everything works as intended. Sandboxed outlook sends the correct attachment/file. But if your attachment/file is stored on a net...

Re: SBIE uses wrong attachment [OUTLOOK2010]
Yes, because that copy is saved in the cache of the SB. It's not "written" to your host machine. If Outlook is saving attachments, they are being saved to the "fake" path within the SB. I know that, but thats not what i meant :). I'll try to be more specific: 1. Outlook runnig sandboxed. 2. Mail se...

SBIE uses wrong attachment [OUTLOOK2010]
Hello everybody. We bought SBIE for our company (120 licensekeys) and we have a really annoying issue. I'll try to describe it as accurate as possible. Sandboxversion: 5.10 (64-bit) OS: Win7 Prof (64-bit) 1. In a sandboxed version of OUTLOOK2010 you sent an email with an attachment i.e. a txt-file l...
