IE files taking up too much space
Sandboxie 4.05.02 on Win 7 x64 Ultimate. This may be more a Windows problem rather than Sandboxie specifically but perhaps somone has some ideas about how best to manage it. I put the Sandbox folder on my brother's RAMDisk, which was 1GB but that seemed an excessive waste of RAM particularly as I'd ...

Any way to exclude some folders from Direct Access?
Using Iron Portable, I'd like to set D:\Portable Apps\Iron Portable\Profile\Default to Direct Access so that my Cookies, History, Settings, Session, etc are saved between sessions but make some subfolders, such as Cache, Media Cache only written to the Sandbox (on my RAMDisk R:). Is there a way to d...

Argh, just realised that the three keys that the Avira cleaner is showing and is unable to delete (and which I couldn't delete manually) are for Avast! Antivirus, not Avira Antivir, which explains why I can't delete them!! Stupid cleaner shouldn't be flagging up another product's keys for deletion t...

Nope, there's no service with the name AntiVirService either running or in services.msc or even in the CurrentControlSet. The closest is "avast! Antivirus". Services have 2 names: Display name, which is what is shown in the "services.msc" list Service Name, which can be seen by double-clicking on t...

Thanks. I used that and it found 13 keys but it can't delete 3 of them (ControlSet001\services\avast! Antivirus and the same for ControlSet002 and 003 and CurrentControlSet) I went into the registry and tried to delete them manually but it won't let me, even though I'm running as Admin and Administr...

There's no "remove" button here but I can just untick Avira. OK. That's enough to remove the template from having any affect on sandboxed programs, but Software Compatibility must still detect that the "AntiVirService" service is still running, if you don't have that button. Either the uninstall of...

No, I uninstalled Avira some time ago and installed Avast recently. There's no "remove" button here but I can just untick Avira. CIS is a bit confusing as I've only installed the free firewall version but it does have HIPS and Auto-Sandbox features, although I've disabled both of those so they shoul...

Thanks tzuk. I did think it wasn't that surprising it might have problems loading whilst the system was busy loading all the other startup programs and only really tried to see if I could trigger the BSOD to get some information for you but thought I might as well post the error in case it was usefu...

000006ba code is heavier than barely an eyesore cause that's a kernel Windows error . you have some kind of driver which is not fully compatible with nt kernel. please list your installed software OTL http://www.trojaner-board.de/85104-otl-otlogfile-oldtimer.html processes [x] all, [x] LOP [x] Puri...

I tried launching IE10 Sandboxed whilst Windows was still loading up the auto-start programs to see if I could force it to BSOD. It didn't but it did throw up this error SBIE2327 Error in COM server: [31 / 258] and then IE crashed (I saw Werfault.exe in the Sandbox) Problem signature: Problem Event ...

OK, thanks. I saw that thread but as it was about Windows 8 I thought I should create a separate one. I've had the problem occur once or twice with various versions but it's very rare and hard to pin down to any particular circumstances. Certainly when it happened before I wasn't messing around with...
