Re: Office 2007 - Unable to open documents directly [DUPLICATE]

I've tried the DDE workaround, but since it's not for MS Office 2007, had to do a little editing. Didn't work though or I didn't edit it right. Anyways, the problem persists only on MS Excel and Word when doing Click to Run or when opening from a browser. But it doesn't happen to MS Powerpoint or Pu...

Re: Office 2007 - Unable to open documents directly

Hello Barb,

Excel starts, but no file is shown inside Excel.

Thanks for the link. I will look into the DDE issue. But this just started after I patched Windows and updated to the beta version.

Office 2007 - Unable to open documents directly [DUPLICATE]

Hi. I'm having some issues with Excel ever since I updated Windows and Sandboxie. OS: Windows 7 64-bit Sandboxie 5.23.3 64-bit MS Excel 2007 Issue: When I try to open an *.csv or *.xlsx file, nothing shows up. When it happens: This is where it gets tricky. It happens in certain conditions. 1. When I...

Re: IE11 annoying behavior

I understand that this isn't a high priority issue since this is really more of an inconvenience than an issue.

But thank you for looking into it.

Though I should note it works find w/ Firefox. It just happens on IE (but not on IE8).

Just wanted to add that errors still occur with Sandboxie 4.09.

Re: SBIE2203 Failed to communicate with Sandboxie Service:

Error C000007F is STATUS_DISK_FULL. Could that be the problem? What about Error 00000102? What could that indicate? Hex 102 = WAIT_TIMEOUT. Where did this occur? Whenever I copy large amounts of data in Excel 2007. More details here: http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=18087

I'm also find a strange behavior: 1. I only add Offiece Folder (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office) to the "Forced Folders" ("Forced programes" is empty), then apply it by click "OK" button. 2. Make sure there is no "excel.exe" process running on my computer. 3. Open a .xls file by double click on i...

Are you also getting the SBIE2203 error or just "The picture is too large...." error?

@ludovicrouy: What do you mean by running Sandboxie in administrator mode? Did you mean to check: "Run as UAC Administrator"?

Thanks deugniet.

May I inquire what other Office 2007 programs you have installed? (Word, Outlook, etc)

Also, what version is your IE? And what's your antivirus?

I'm trying to track this down since it also happens on a netbook w/ Windows 7 32-bit.

Just updated Firefox to 27 on my XP SP3 machine. No problems so far. FF runs fine sandboxed. Also, not using Avast. Has anyone w/ the problem tried running FF in safe mode? Try and see if a plugin or extension could be causing a problem? Or how about a new FF profile?
