I'm on w8.1 64 bit, and just switched to ff 32 bit... seems to have cleared up the problem for me so far.

Just one other bit of related strange behavior with FF sboxed... SOMETIMES upon the end of download, the blue down arrow animation (gif?) will freeze, so that FF remains running, but that blue down arrow is till there. It seems like an artifact (right term ?) left from the arrow animation. This may ...

Sorry if I misinterpreted what you were saying... I got the impression you were discounting page file/new image issues without having really looked into them. I may not have caught the context of your post.

Re: You should install the recommend version for your OS. 64 bit for 64 bit, etc. I did that no joy. Another thing I noticed was after reapplying a Paragon image the problem seemed to clear up for while. Seeing as how the page file isnt saved in those images it would be rebuilding at that point... c...
