Re: Sandboxes are leaking [Misleading accusation]
Firstly, I would like to ask you about those firefox files outside the sandbox under program files, What version it is? Is it the same with the version installed in your sandbox? Considering it is safe, can you run the firefox.exe? Is your UAC is set to never notify? I already went through and dele...

Re: Sandboxes are leaking [Misleading accusation]
InjectDll=E:\Sandboxie\00_Setup\injtest.exe InjectDll64=E:\Sandboxie\00_Setup\injtest_x64.exe Am I the only one who finds these entries interesting/odd/wrong? Those 2 entries are from Wrathdru's - Block Process Access, in the Contributed Utilities & Templates, here in the forum. If this is setup in...

Re: Sandboxes are leaking [Misleading accusation]
First of all Craig, you should know that I think Sandboxie is one of the best programs to use for security. I'm not attacking Sandboxie, it's defiantly one of my favorites. I'm sharing what I have found on my system. You asked me about templates, here's a config of my main sandbox I use for surfing:...

Re: Sandboxes are leaking
Ronen... haven't heard that name in a while, hope he's doing well. :) That's interesting about the cookies. When I mentioned that I had other programs running during the crash, I just found some of their files outside of the sandbox too. This whole incident explains a strange problem I had about a y...

Re: Sandboxes are leaking
I jumped the gun with the registry information, but I never installed firefox outside of a sandbox. Firefox is in every sandbox and it would be a security risk to have running outside of SB because I use a really old version. I have not allowed any part of the browser to be saved outside of a sandbo...

Sandboxes are leaking [Misleading accusation]
I'm working with SB v5.10. I have 36 sandboxes and 3 have leaked outside of Sandboxie into the windows 7 environment and it's registry. For example, I only use Firefox in a sandbox, it is not installed outside of SB. However, in Win 7 registry under HKEY_USERS those 3 sandboxes that have leaked are ...

Re: BSOD with Windows updates is indeed a SB issue, here's w
I understand what you are saying but I don't have any other issues in windows and I have a lot of applications installed (maya, Adobe CS6 master, etc). Everything is working as expected. Does not logic dictate that when you remove all possible variables that the only thing left no matter how unlikel...

BSOD with Windows updates is indeed a SB issue, here's why
This is how I learned that SB is effected by an windows update. Troubleshooting steps I did: I just installed windows security updates: kb3080446, kb3093513, kb3088195 and kb3097966. When I used Firefox to logon to a website SB gave the following errors: SBIE1222 Error with Security token: [C0000061...

Re: Sandboxie has drive space limitation?
It sounded to me as if Sam777 found that the installer program was only looking to install the program on C. Otherwise, he could have just selected a different drive for the install. Sandboxie doesn't care about where the program is installed or how much space it needs. Right, that explains it. I'v...

Sandboxie has drive space limitation?
If it's possible, I play all my games in a sandbox for convenience and I ran into an interesting issue during installation. If you're a gamer then you know that games are becoming huge and for the first time SB gave this kind of an error during installation. "Setup requires at least 45,270,261 KB of...

Re: Python27 and Cheetah
Ah, that makes sense, thanks. I understand the logic behind it but there are times when you need to install a program when a sandbox has already been established. Hopefully this gets attention in a future version of Sandboxie.

Python27 and Cheetah
When I installed Python27 in a sandbox, the app offered to add python.exe to PATH in Environment Variables, so I checked it. While in DOS - c:\cheetah, I typed in: python setup.py install, and it didn't recognize the variable python. Thinking it was a fluke I just typed the path to python.exe and mo...

Re: SBIE2224 Sandboxed program crashed: NexusClient.exe
UPDATE (temporary work-around): I noticed from comparing sandboxes all the NMM versions are the same but with Firefox they were different. The 2 sandboxes that work well have v29 and the one that's the problem is v35. Yesterday, I dropped to v29, installed 8 mods and haven't experienced a crash yet....

SBIE2224 Sandboxed program crashed: NexusClient.exe
Hi, I'm really not sure why the Nexus Mod Manager is crashing when it is working perfectly in two other sandboxes. Skyrim and Fallout 3 work flawlessly, but it crashes with Oblivion. It happens when installing a Mod and there's no information on SB website about this particular error, when clicking ...

Re: Sandbox Restriction Settings and Firefox,
Hi Joe, Wow, can't believe I missed that! LOL So if I understand this correctly, I would need to have FF installed outside of SB to achieve the results I want, right? I ran into another issue that just started within the last few minutes. I right-moused click on (we'll call sandbox ONE) and selected...
