Can't Access Network Shares
I recently added a my book live duo to the network and I'm having trouble accessing shares through Sandboxie. From another post, (http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=11479) I followed the suggestion about giving full access to the file sharing subsystem. Go to Sandbox Settings > Resource ...

Default Browser option within a sandbox
I use firefox in almost all of my sandboxes which means that firefox is installed several times because it's not installed on the host side - I use ie for general surfing. With this setup, I can't right mouse click on a sandbox and select "Run Sandboxed" --> "Run Web Browser" because Sandboxie will ...

Block all programs from net doesn't always work (v3.60)
I created a sandbox tonight (SB v3.60) and selected to blocked all access to the net and unchecked the Drop Rights. I usually initialize the browser with every sandbox to establish folders and the registry before installing anything. Something new popped up that I haven't seen before. A warning (or ...

I think I know why this error happened and it's very unlikely that anyone else will experience this. But just in case someone is looking for a solution... I believe the error occurred because of having mix-matched configurations in the Sandboxie.ini file. Against Sandboxie's suggestion about deletin...

Sandboxie and Block Access DLL
Sandboxie doesn't see MSVCP100.dll in any of the sandboxes when using the wraithdu InjectDll. I did install vc runtime as suggested and even did a repair but the results are still the same. From reading other posts, I tried disabling items one at a time in the sbiextra.ini, but the following error i...

Have you installed the VC++ 2010 runtimes as the first post mentions? If so, you'll have to start a bug report thread as to why Sandboxie is not seeing that installation for injected DLLs. I did install the VC runtimes and ran a repair just to be sure it installed correctly. The problem still exist...

I'm trying to setup this dll but have run into a problem. I run IE as my main browser inside and outside of sandboxes. However, I use FF inside sandboxes (not installed on host side) and that's where the problem lies. When I run FF, the following error appears: firefox.exe - System Error The Program...

Sandboxie & Proxomitron
I just rebuilt my system after doing something stupid that killed some user settings and I noticed that proxomitron still interferes with sandboxie's activation process. Something about can't connect to the server. Every time I rebuild or sandboxie wants to reconfirm after 90 days, I have to remove ...

Or you could also just use a sandboxed Windows Explorer to browse to your virtual drive and run the file there. :) What a great idea, I haven't thought of that. I'll give it a try next time I need it. The first idea is good too if you only need it for one sandbox, but I currently have 31 and counti...

Re: SAME THING HERE
I don't mean to hijack this thread, although that's what I"m going to do since I cannot find anything similar elsewhere. (the search sucks). You can use Google to search a website exclusively with a keyword. The syntax is: site:<website name> <what you are searching> For example, say you wanted inf...

... I think there is clearly a place to ask the question if it really was running under Sandboxie. That's an interesting statement, tzuk. I guess I'm a little confused about something. When I request Sandboxie to run D-tools in a sandbox, I can see in the Control Panel that DTLite.exe is listed as ...

Browser defaults with Sandboxie
I use IE for everything except 2 sites in which I have them sandboxed. I like the ability to be able to right-mouse click on Sandboxie's Control Panel in the systray -> select sandbox -> run web browser. For the 2 sites that I use Firefox, is there a way to make Sandboxie think that FF (only for tho...

Daemon Tools and Sandboxie - security leak?
I searched this but didn't notice anyone else having this issue. Why is it when I load an image into a (sandboxed) D-tools, the autoplay starts and the software initializes outside of a sandbox? I've been using Sandboxie for some time now and I find it interesting that I'm just noticing this behavio...
