Re: Chrome on host and sandboxed
Did empty the sandbox and left Chrome installed on host as it was. Then re-ran Chrome inside sandbox and now it works. Now it also works quite fast as expected from Chrome, even in SBIE. Guess it is better to have the stuff on the HDD and then run it sandboxed from there as opposed to having it in S...

Chrome on host and sandboxed [SOLVED]
Since this advice http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=21974&start=30#p125023 lead to either Chrome constantly crashing or frequent BSOD of the OS I am now opting to install Chrome on the host directly and run it sandboxed like suggested here. http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/vi...

Re: High CPU usage by Firefox
Just wanted to chip in shortly that I can relate to the issues vester is having, SBIE seems to be a bottleneck of some sort. Whenever I work outside SBIE things run fast to really fast, when working inside SBIE things run normal speed or slow, this so especially with browsers. It seems to me the des...

Re: Installing Browsers Directly Into SBIE [Updated 6/06]
For Chrome 55 into SBIE there is currently no other way apart from --no-sandbox?
What are the dangers of installing Chrome locally and then running it with SBIE?
Would that mean that for updates Chrome would run un-sandboxed during the update and then I can run it locally and with SBIE again?

Cant install Chrome 54.0.2840.59 in SBIE Windows7 64[SOLVED]
Hallo SBIE Support I cannot install Chrome 54.0.2840.59 32-bit that I got from here https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html?standalone=1 into SBIE on Win 7 64 SP1. It finished the install fine, then Chrome shows a black window in the viewport. I am not sure if the current ve...

Re: Delete Sandboxie Send To Links [SOLVED]
Syrinx, thank you for the additional info.
Did see that option and was not sure, though I should have known better.
Have removed them from the folder as well as un-ticked that option.
Should do the trick now.
Thank you.

Re: Installing Browsers Directly Into SBIE [Updated 6/06]
Chrome 51.0.2704.84 32-bit installed into SBIE 5.04 64-bit works fine on Win 7 64-bit SP1. About flash content. Under URL "chrome://plugins/" one can configure Adobe Flash Player to be either turned on or off. Checked a few flash videos/streaming and they all worked. Update in the sandbox naturally ...

Re: Thunderbird Tags Disappearing
I just checked the source of tagged and not tagged messages and don't even see any "X-Mozilla-Keys" in both type of messages. My email provider informed me that tags are stored in the message file name on the server instead of in the headers of the messages that are tagged. Though this could be prov...

Re: OpenPGP template for Thunderbird not working
Ha, I did not know there is a portable version of the PGP software, silly me for not looking that up prior to install, I thought it is so important and perhaps relies on being installed to the OS partition that I installed it to there directly. Will restore to an OS image without the PGP installed a...

Re: OpenPGP template for Thunderbird not working
Questions, more than help... "OpenFilePath=<gpg_programs>,%AppData%\Thunderbird" You call this "portable" Thunderbird. Or, is it really just normal TB that's been set up so that multiple users each have their own profile? I have set up TB Portable in this way for multiple users: http://forums.sandb...
