Re: Praise for SBIE's continued support for XP.
More music to my ears. Really SBIE is pretty much why I still use XP in a virtual machine since doing so, in essence, makes it double-sandboxed. I don't care how many patches Microsoft does for it's OS, there is only one way to protect it; it's to completely isolate it (well try to anyway) from onli...

Re: Your new Sandboxie support engineer!
Good news indeed. Don't post very often since, for me, SBIE has been quite flawless, but I admit, I rarely tax SBIE; just browse mainly.
Anyway, I too welcome you Craig.

Praise for SBIE's continued support for XP.
I know I can now use SBIE in Win8.1, but I still only use it my XP VM. 4.18 still working flawlessly for me. Thanks to the developers for their continued support of a very old OS.

Re: Support
I've been lucky so far since I continue to use SBIE in my sandbox (WinXP). The newer Windows OSs have a heck of a lot of other things going on with them and I can see this being a tremendous burden to address every issue there may be out their or request desired by the many enthusiasts of SBIE. Not ...

Re: The new "2015" licensing terms
Glad that you are now offering lifetime licensing for this gem again. Appreciate the continued support for SBIE too. I'm already a lifetime member, but still, for those that are not, it's well worth it.

Finally broke down.
Finally installed Win7 64-bit in a virtual machine (via Virtualbox; my host is now Windows 8.1). I'm finally going to retire my tried and true XP VM which Sandboxie served well. Right not I'm using IE11 and the current stable release of SBIE works quite well with it. I noticed a lot of the beta rele...

Thanks for the update Curt.
With all the recent betas (Betanews does a good job keeping me up on them), I was wondering when SBIE was going to get it's next update. I use Iron Browser in XP virtual machine (Iron is based on Chromium engine) and I have noticed some of the crashes that appears was addressed with this build; I'll...

Re: Making Windows 8 Look and Behave Like Windows 7
Recently had to replace my dead PC so now have Win8.1 myself. My Asus came with Classic Shell but it was not installed. I did my best to get use to Metro, but finally I broke down and installed Classic Shell. It's both free and fantastic.

Re: Sandboxie & Google Chrome
Not sure about Chrome but SR Iron (using Chromium too) has a portable version which may be sandboxied (I actually just run the full version sandboxed).

If so, then I've been fooled for over 7 years now. lol
I will add that I can't tell you how many browser drive-byes that SBIE stopped cold. The OP at that website's a poser.

Tzuk definitely picked the right company to maintain his gift to us. Congrats is an understatement. Thank you for keeping Sandboxie up to date as you said you would.

Re: Malwarebytes Anti Exploit
I've been running MBAE for months now; it's, of course, out of beta. Had no idea that it wasn't protecting anything inside the sanboxie sessions, but still, I like having it to sort of protect my VM. I do run EMET in my host OS (Win7) but not in XP nor will I. Of course I'm not running either Sandbo...

Re: Installing Sandboxie IN SANDBOXIE?
If you are looking for even more protection I would suggest running Sandboxie inside a virtual machine. This leaves the mother OS very well protected when suitable configurations have been made. Performance might suffer a bit, as this is loading your system a lot more than with just sandboxing. I t...

Re: Sandboxie, positive reviews ? Asking the infinitive.
Sandboxie continues to prove to me that no anti-virus program should be trusted. SBIE has and still is the main protection system for my XP VM (and hence my Win7 OS Host). The only thing lacking in SBIE is a key stroke scanner detection but that has always been out of the scope for SBIE and you can ...

Questions about Freespace.
Currently have a lifetime license for SBIE which I've been using for years in my XP (now in my XP virtual machine). Now that XP is no longer being supported by Microsoft, I do need to be on my Ps and Qs and get a little serious about Mal-ware handling under realtime situations (only use a rudimentar...
