Re: SBIE1406 and SBIE 1412 after Windows 10 Creators Update
Hi, sorry for the late reply I've been busy. I can't be the only one in the world having this issue, there must be a simple path redirect somewhere or something to solve it I just don't know enough to do so. Here are the contents of my Sandboxie.ini file, hope it helps. [GlobalSettings] Template=Win...

Re: SBIE1406 and SBIE 1412 after Windows 10 Creators Update
Hello again, could someone please tell me the steps to take to solve this error? The exact popup looks like this: SBIE1406 Missing or invalid expansion for USERPROFILE: [C0000034] SBIE1412 In text: [custombox1] %temp% SBIE1406 Missing or invalid expansion for USERPROFILE: [C0000034] SBIE1412 In text...

Re: SBIE1406 and SBIE 1412 after Windows 10 Creators Update
Hello, unfortunately I think to reproduce it you'd have to install the same update on the same system, hence why I'm having the issue... going into the boxes and removing rules involving %temp% - - - what rules are those, where are they, I'm not aware of any set it up with the actual path if I'm the...

SBIE1406 and SBIE 1412 after Windows 10 Creators Update [SOLVED]
Hello, I recently received the Windows 10 version 1703 the creator's update, and ever since every time I use Sandboxie I get the following errors: SBIE1406 Missing or invalid expansion for USERPROFILE: [C0000034] SBIE1412 In text: [DefaultBox] %temp% and the error repeats for all my sandboxes i.e. I...

Re: downloaded pdf 0kb / jpeg copied into Sandbox 0kb
Hi, I will try manually recovering 0kb files by copy and pasting to desired location.
Regarding the upload, maybe the problem was I copied and pasted into Sandboxie using windows explorer unsandboxed. Next time I will copy and paste into Sandboxie using windows explorer sandboxed. Thanks,
Regards

downloaded pdf 0kb / jpeg copied into Sandbox 0kb
Hi, at some point in the last week I copied a jpeg into defaultbox for upload, but couldn't upload it because the file size in defaultbox was 0kb. Another time I downloaded a pdf but quick recovery didn't offer to recover the download, and I couldn't open it in the sandbox because the file size was ...

Re: Chromium Browsers become unsandboxed when streaming full screen
Hi, thanks for that, the tests you outlined do show Chrome sandboxed in full screen. I suppose exactly why the indicator disappears in Chrome doesn't matter so much so long as its still secure. I'm still curious, but not that bothered, I'll stream in Chrome again.

Re: Chromium Browsers become unsandboxed when streaming full screen
I'm talking about window titles as that's where the [#] symbol is. In case you're wondering, the PID doesn't change, its still the same process. Whether or not its sandboxed should be demonstrable, as it is with firefox, and the fact it isn't needs to be accounted for. The utilities simply display t...

Re: Chromium Browsers become unsandboxed when streaming full screen
Bo, as I already stated, there are several ways to see whether a program is sandboxed, and there are other browsers besides firefox. Thanks for the pic, but it simply shows you check whether firefox is sandboxed using sandboxie control, which doesn't really address the problem. Besides, the issue is...

Re: Chromium Browsers become unsandboxed when streaming full screen
Hi Bo, there are other ways to view running programs besides the title bar, such as in task manager or the window title in network monitors such as tcpview and currports. Or in my case as I am running dual monitors I can see the same title bar in both, so with full screen in one I can still check th...

Chromium Browsers become unsandboxed when streaming full screen [SOLVED]
Hi, When I go full screen with youtube on Chrome it’s not sandboxed, the [#] next to the window title disappears, either immediately or after a short while. This also happens going full screen streaming any online media e.g. powered by Jwplayer, the web page will be sandboxed but on going full scree...

Re: Configure Sandboxie usb access for UTF security key?
Hi, those entries are present in chromium browsers, but not in firefox as firefox does not have native support for UTF security keys, sandboxed or not I'd need an add-on. Opening the numbered pipe path would not work as its a new device every time I insert the key, it counts up (65, 66, 67, etc). Op...

Re: Configure Sandboxie usb access for UTF security key?
Hi, thanks for the thread links I checked them out but I'm not using Kapersky and I can't see similar configs in Avira so no solutions for me. I tried a new sandbox with no restrictions, made no difference. I also temporarily disabled antivirus and windows firewall but still no joy. Browser: Google ...

Re: Configure Sandboxie usb access for UTF security key?
Hi, I don't receive any error, nothing happens. It's always a new sandbox. I'm using latest Sandboxie with default settings except with internet access and start/run access restricted to chrome only. The thing about UTF keys is they never show up as drives when inserted in usb slots, they are simply...
