Recuva reports Sandboxie(Firefox) photos in C:/? [DUPLICATE]
I have on multiple Recuva runs encountered photos that I recognize as having been on screen while Sandboxie was running my browser. I tested this specifically by choosing helicopter photos for my search while running Sandboxie(Firefox). During my normal usage of my computer, I have never used the wo...

Re: Firefox 56/57/58 sound not working when sandboxed
I had the same problem. Windows 7 Pro Firefox 58.0.2 (64-Bit) Sandboxie 5.22 (64-Bit) Firefox was running stand alone for the fix. I had only to change the Firefox setting under the URL entry about:config From> browser.tabs.remote.autostart Default | boolean | true To> browser.tabs.remote.autostart ...

Re: Sandboxie leaks pictures - [SOLVED]
Well, I used Sandboxie 6.2.0.2979 to generate the command... "C:\Program Files\Eraser\Eraser.exe" addtask --quiet --method=ecbf4998-0b4f-445c-9a06-23627659e419 --schedule=now --dir="%SANDBOX\\%" With it ending in "%SANDBOX\\%" and all references to this parameter that I have observed being "%SANDBOX...

Re: Sandboxie leaks pictures
Thanks Barb. Spot on. I did not realize that Sandboxie allowed modification of its default behaviour to do what I had done with Eraser. I've used the *.ini files in the deep past but seemed to forget about them in this instance. I'm 82. Once again the community excels. You indexing my mind should so...

Re: Sandboxie leaks pictures
Thanks for the response Curt. 1. Firefox was running within Sandboxie. Evidenced by the yellow border. 2. The generation of the watch criteria pictures was done under the conditions of 1 above. 3. The default sandbox was used. 4. Post generation of the pictures, Sandboxie was either closed with or w...

Sandboxie leaks pictures - [SOLVED]
Here is a copy of a Word 2010 file that details how I proved Sandboxie leaks pictures ... USING PIRIFORM’S RECUVA IN THUMBNAIL VIEW, I SCANNED EACH OF THE FOLDERS IN MY C:\ DRIVE. This scan was performed outside of Sandboxie. I was looking for any pictures (*.jpg|*.png|*.raw|*.gif|*.jpeg|*.bmp|*.tif...

Re: VeraCrypt & Sandboxie
Thanks for the replies Craig. I offer these answers to your statements and questions. 1. “SBIE does't create any partitions.” Understood. 4. “How is veracrypt installed?” It is installed on my host machine and then run "sandboxed?" Sandboxie is installed as: "C:\Program Files\Sandboxie" VeraCrypt is...

Tracks left outside of the box
I found a folder named Sandbox on my C: drive while not running Sandboxie. Within this folder I found URLs that when copied and entered into the address bar of my browser took me to the site specified. I believe that this should not be something I should be able to do. What do you think? For me to b...

Re: Can't start Firefox 28
Thanks much.
Curt's suggestion to use the 4.09.02 Beta solved my problem.
This is the first time that I have used a beta. I hope it holds up.
