Yes, I can see them but is it possible to specify more user friendly names?
Yes, this should be possible. You can add to Sandboxie.ini, for example:

Code: Select all

[GlobalSettings]
Ovr.Downloads=%{374DE290-123F-4565-9164-39C4925E467B}%
(Check the section "Overriding Variables" from the first link.)

Re: Environment variables

Sandboxie uses its own Expandable Variables: https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?ExpandableVariables https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?ShellFolders (But you can use the Windows Environment Variables also.) %Downloads% was never defined but %{374DE290-123F-4565-9164-39C4925E467B}% should work. (Che...

Re: Lost Reorganized Bookmarks

... I did not set this path. (I wouldn't know how.) It's probably installed by Adobe DC, which, as I noted, isn't doing what it used to. Strange, I do not know any application that would make changes to the Sandboxie.ini. And for me, those TemplateSettings make no sense. You could try the following...

Re: Lost Reorganized Bookmarks

This setting looks suspicious: [TemplateSettings] Tmpl.Firefox.wsc3=C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 2015\Acrobat This seems to change the path for the Firefox profile! Did you set this path? And I noticed that AutoDelete is not enabled. I would recommend enabling this option if the sandbox is u...

Re: Was this?!

This could help: http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/sear ... s=SBIE2101

Are you still on Windows 7? Because it should be fixed for Windows 10.

Re: Lost Reorganized Bookmarks

I accessed FF several times from outside of any SB and the history and bookmarks behaved as expected. I imported my bookmarks and they held, as well as changes made post-import. The history correctly reflected new websites visited. I then reloaded FF into the just created Sandbox and the previous h...

Re: Lost Reorganized Bookmarks

Did you reboot and clean the Sandbox manually ("Delete Contents") already? Maybe AutoDelete is blocked by some locked files? If you enable "Allow direct access to entire Firefox profile folder", you only need to enable "Allow direct access to Firefox/... phishing database" additionally. All other "A...

Re: Multi-process Firefox 51-Blank pages [Fixed in SBIE 5.17

I added the following line into Sandboxie.ini within the settings of my Firefox sandbox: OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,%UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Mozilla\temp-* For example: [MozillaFirefox] AutoDelete=y AutoRecover=y BorderColor=#00FFFF ConfigLevel=7 DropAdminRights=y Enabled=y OpenFilePath=firefox....

Re: Printing broken in 5.16 & 5.18

Wondering if this issue is related to this line from the first post of the Beta 5.17 thread : ... Thank you very much for your reply and this important information. Printing from Firefox works again! :D I added following line: OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,%UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Mozilla\temp-* (...

Re: Printing broken in 5.16 & 5.18

Some additional information:

In my case, it's a "Firefox only" problem. Printing from other applications works flawless. Maybe changes in Firefox 53 are responsible?
I hope you can fix this. Thanks!

(Can you move my posts to a new separate thread, please? The problem of Binky seems to be different.)

Re: Printing broken in 5.16 & 5.18

I can confirm this problem! Printing from a sandboxed Firefox is not possible anymore. Firefox just shows the error message "An error occurred while printing" and the printer prints a blank page. The spooler message doesn't show up anymore. I added "AllowSpoolerPrintToFile=y" to sandboxie.ini but th...

But now it works! :D Reason: Meanwhile they released a new version with a completely changed setup r...

Did you clean the Sandbox manually ("Delete Contents") already? This helps very often.
