Re: Norton is suddenly blocking sandboxie services
Hey Craig, Thanks for the reply. Sandboxie seems to be running like normal after allowing the exceptions. I've opened multiple boxes, with no new alerts from Norton. It seems like I'll have to redo the process every time I update Sandboxie, however. But that's not a big deal... just figured I should...

Norton is suddenly blocking sandboxie services
i had to allow and add 3 or 4 exceptions.
i hadn't updated sandboxie in a while either (currently on 4.19.4), so it's not changes on your end.
just figured i should let you guys know... i've been using both services together for a long time now, and this is the 1st time i see them not get along.

Re: No sound on google chrome or any media in sandboxie.
Wow, thanks it worked! I have a lot of questionable programs I download from the internet that I still use to my old sandboxie container folder so I didn't want to delete it, and every time I do a system wipe I just set the container to the previous location. Thanks for the help, I would never have...

Re: No sound on google chrome or any media in sandboxie.
by any chance did u copy/paste your sandboxes?
if so, try either deleting the contents OR deleting the reghive file inside the sandbox.

Re: 4.17 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.17.3)
Specifically, are you sure... because there are two Offline installers (standalone). And one or more online setups (non-standalone). I don't know how to explain that. Only the "all users" installer gives me that error probably because it wants to install a governing service. I'm positive. I even tr...

That's what happens why i try to install chrome into it's own sandbox.
Both 32 and 64 bit versions, and also the same message whether it's the online or offline installer.

Re: 4.17 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.17.2)
Also it isn't a massive issue, but with norton installed, when trying to open a windows explorer window sandboxed, it creates this error. Hi Stonerd, read Curts post for that message related to Norton's symerr.ese. http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=19061&p=108465&hilit#p101514...

Re: 4.17 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.17.2)
it was multiple games trying to launch in full screen. (not at a single time or anything)
only 1 fan made game was unaffected, and a couple of cheap ports got stuck in launching/crashing loops, repeating the error message each time.

Re: 4.17 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.17.2)
Perhaps a regression. I was running 4.17.1 ... with no errors this the 4.17.2 broke a few apps that worked fine in 4.17.1 i'd like to go back for now too. http://i.imgur.com/WaHceoz.png so far i've noticed this alongside a "unable to create direct 3D" error. Edit: reverting to the latest stable fix...

I used to see the "NTCreateProcess" error, and since 4.15.11, it has changed to the "SBIE2101 Object name not found: OpenProcess (C0000022) 001FFFFF, error " code.
