Re: SBIE2214 after Chrome update

For some reason hide doesn't work for SBIE2220 but it does for SBIE2214. Right now I have uninstalled SBIE. Will check it up with new beta, when it comes out.

Re: SBIE2214 after Chrome update

After hiding message 2214 I got new one: SBIE2220. To prevent this from happening again I temporary disabled Dropped rights option for Google Chrome.

Re: Sandboxie and chrome no longer work well together

Sometimes I temporarily install Comodo Dragon in a sandbox and when I am finish, I delete the sandbox. But I have never had Chrome installed in my computers so I am not familiar with Chrome type browsers in my real system. What you wrote above looks to me not like a temporary solution but exactly w...

Re: Sandboxie and chrome no longer work well together

As temporary solution I would suggest to run Chrome unsandboxed, install and configure extensions and when all maintenance is done run it sandboxed again.
It looks like new version of Chrome has changed few things and SBIE has to be updated to adjust to them.

Re: SBIE2214 after Chrome update

For me it never happened before. IMO upgrading to last Chrome version is causing this problem. :?:

SBIE2214 after Chrome update

After updating Chrome to version 35 I get an error: SBIE 2214: "Request to start service BITS was denied due to dropped rights". I will hide this message but it would be nice if there was other solution also. Otherwise Chrome just can't be run wit dropped right anymore.

Re: Outlook message scan problem

I tested scaning using Eicar test file and sent files are indeed not tested by Nod32 if Outlook is under SBIE control.

Outlook message scan problem

I'm using Sandboxie 4.9.4 on Windows 8.1.1 X64. I also use Nod32 AV 7.0.302.26. I have compatibility with Nod32 enabled and direct disk access to pst files enabled. I have enabled an option in ESET to append tag to sent mail (using Outlook 2010). If I forward an email or create a new one under SBIE ...

I know it's not final solution, but if you have a lot of RAM, you can create Ramdisk and put your container folder on it. At each shutdown everything is gone. That's how I've set it up on my system.

I disabled an option "Ask where to save each file before downloading" in Chrome and problem doesn't occur any more. So problem is solved for me. Thank you for your help.

Yes I have that option turned on. When I come home from work, I will try disabling it and will see if it removes the problem.

BTW my default folder to save downloads and for quick recovery is set to "D:\Prenosi" and not to default Downloads folder. Could this be a problem?

I did a liitle more testing and I think I found a reason. It all depends on whether Favorites in Explorer are collapsed or expanded.

I get no errors if I have Favorites folder expanded and get those error as soon as I collapse it. Strange, but I could repeat it many times.
