Re: Firefox 57 Crashes Immediately When Run inside Sandboxie
Dropping security level to 2 in about:config resolves the crash. I didn't need to modify multiprocess settings. I hope a solution becomes available so we can run at the highest settings. Thanks a lot.

Re: Chrome suddenly not working in Sandbox
Frustratingly enough, it suddenly started working fine yesterday when I randomly tested launching Chrome in sandboxie. It might be related to Chrome update mechanism when it is installed outside Sandboxie, because the issue usually appears randomly around it. Chrome seems to be using the windows bit...

Re: Chrome suddenly not working in Sandbox
No, I don't use any kind of addon with Sandboxie. Also, I added $:chrome.exe to allowed IPC access.
The resource access log changed to:
But the crash is exactly the same. Nothing changed.
Forgot to mention: Version 58.0.3029.81 (64-bit)
The resource access log changed to:
Code: Select all
Ipc O $:chrome.exe
Forgot to mention: Version 58.0.3029.81 (64-bit)

Re: 5.17 Beta Available (latest version 5.17.6)
Firefox HW H264 decoding is broken (5.17.6) when running inside sandboxie and youtube videos fail to play with a "Media resource could not be decoded" error in the web dev console. Running outside sandbox works perfectly with HW playback (after removing "media.hardware-video-decoding.failed" in abou...

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.02 RC)
I forgot to mention, my laptop has a TPM chip and it is enabled and visible and functioning in Windows. Maybe that is helpful to aid in reproducing the freeze. EDIT: My apologies, it appears I already reported this on Jul 28th 2015, though at the time I didn't realize that the problem was related to...

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.02 RC)
The hang is 100% related to using fingerprint login. I caught another resources access log after Firefox was fully launched, but immediately before clicking the LastPass icon in the toolbar to login (then Firefox froze) and I got this: Clsid ------------------------------- File/Key -----------------...

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.9)
Hello, since I started testing Sandboxie 5 (from 5.01.3), I have never been able to get Chrome to launch Sandboxed with Kaspersky Anti Virus 2016. Is there any workaround for me I can use ? (Perhaps enabling direct access to some Kaspersky files ?) Info: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit RTM Build 10240 (fully ...

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.2)
Another bug (seems to be missing or changed functions in "shadow" DLL functions): Download FlashPlayer projector (flashplayer_18_sa.exe) and try to run it sandboxed. (https://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html) 5.01.2 Beta registered. Windows 10 RTM 10240 64-bit. Attached resource acce...

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.2)
100% reproducible Firefox hang under Sandboxie with LastPass under Windows 10 RTM build 10240. Version: 5.01.2 (64-bit) registered. Reproducible test case: 1. Install firefox with fresh profile with direct access to profile folder. 2. Run Firefox sandboxed. 3. Install LastPass addon from mozilla add...

Hello, I am a paid customer, and I have the same issue. Here's a 100% reproduce case (tested on Windows 8 Pro 32-bit). 1. Go in windows explorer, make a folder to store .torrent files, right-click on this folder > Properties > General tab > Advanced > Encrypt contents to secure data, then OK. Window...
