I misread.

I want to install the program in the sandbox so I won't need the old vc++ dependencies installed, and because I do not want the services, context menu entries, etc that the program makes even if they can be manually removed from the host post-install.

The error says the side-by-side configuration is incorrect. It seems to be some sort of visual c++ redistributeable issue, but I have all from 2008 to 2015 both x86 and x64 installed. Installing the program outside the sandbox and running it sandboxed works, but I want it installed in the sandbox. W...

Bitkinex Cannot Be Sandboxed

After running the installer in a sandbox, there are some SBIE2205 errors about TrustedInstaller and SxsInstallW. Running bitkinex.exe gives an error that seems to indicate that the installation configuration is incorrect.

I was getting error code "1638" which translates to "Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue." Using the standalone installer worked.

Glad to know you guys are working on a better installer, thanks.
