Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01)
I wanted to try to reproduce another old issue, this time with MS Office 2010. Unfortunately the Office doesn't work right on the configuration from signature (OS && SB version) so I'm unable to try to reproduce. I installed MS Office outside SBIE but I sandboxed my .doc, .xls and .ppt documents wh...

Re: Chrome + Sandboxie = CRASH
I also turned on Drop Rights for my Chrome sandbox as another test and I use the Chrome program versions 43.0.2357.132 (32-bit) and 43.0.2357.132 (64-bit) but on different Win 7 SP1 64-bit OS.
Sweet and smooth here with no crash running both 32-bit and 64-bit Chrome browsers in Sandboxie sandbox.

Re: SBIE2331
The culprit is Avast. I did what nanana1 suggested: I took out Malwarebytes first. That made no difference. Then I uninstalled Avast. At that point Sandboxie started up without a murmur. So re-installed Malwarebytes. Still fine. Re-installed Avast. back to SBIE2331. I didn't know that disabling ant...

Re: Folder folder bug
I am able to recreate the problem with the steps provided by btm. For some reason, when Windows sends us the notification of a process starting, it is giving us the old file path. I will research this to find out why. Yes!....Finally, our reported bug is replicated and now being researched. C...

Alright, I did this with (2) test programs. One was Skype and the other was ccleaner. Followed the same steps as you have listed (minus the irfanview.exe program, but you suggested ANY program) .......and I did not get an sort of sandboxed behavior when I cut and paste to the desktop from a forced ...

Re: Folder folder bug
Now I just tried to reproduce the Forced Folder bug and can reproduce the reported bug : 1. Create a forced folder 2. Download any program, eg. irfanview (iview438_setup.exe) and place it in the forced folder 3. Double-click on the program within the Forced Folder to install (of course, the program ...

Re: SBIE2331
Hi Craig, Yes, I use Avast and Malwarebytes. I have tested disabling both of those and set Avast to start after other processes to see if that solved the issue. It didn't. Sue @Sue, Disabling may not totally stop their activities. I suggest you uninstall Malwarebytes first and test to see if SBIE r...
