Re: Sandboxie and System Images

Hello AMD, If a program is not Sandboxed and does not invoke Sandboxed apps, then it should work as expected. Here are some Macrium related threads: https://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/search.php?keywords=macrium The best way to tell would be to test it and let us know if you encounter ...

Sandboxie and System Images

... certain areas of my PC to run as forced folders e.g. My Documents, does this have any affect on system images when they are created daily, (I use Macrium Reflect) or does it simply continue to back up the "real" system files & folders which is what I would expect? Confirmation of my thoughts would ...

Re: Firefox and IE won't work

Don't let me star on all he's done so far with all kinds of programs. But I always make Acronis or Macrium images before I let him experiment so it's no harm done. He said the crack is nonfunctional anyway as it says the program is activated but the registered-only functions ...

Re: impossible to install programs ..

... tool. I don't install anything in them. I install software to the desktop and run stuff sandboxed. If I want a quick test of software, I use Macrium Reflect Home(paid version) and with that I can very quickly take an image, and with equal speed restore and get rid of anything just installed. ...

... uninstall. All in all, I just want to test installing of Office 2007 and 2010, etc. Like craig said, either a VM, or get an imaging program like macrium reflect. Image the system(which you should do anyway) install office play and then restore the system. All gone.

Re: Some installers seem to fail

... fails every time. But if you feel this is OK, and as it should be.. then I suppose there is nothing to do about it. An imaging program like Macrium Reflect would better serve this purpose. Even though my c: drive is 150gb of stuff, I can take an incremental in about 2 minutes. If I don't ...

... stuff as I use it as a secondary backup. But all images full, and incremental take the same time for me about 18 minutes. Same with restore. But Macrium got the speed thing down, and it's totally reliable. I've done some horrible things testing it and doesn't fail Alright, I think gonna try it ...

Re: Keylogging and scraping screen images

Hi Mr X We run very similar configurations. I love Shadow Defender, but you can't test install something requiring a reboot. Give Macrium Reflect v6 Home version a whirl, and you won't look back. My C: drive currently sits at 147gb. Full image time is 18 minutes, but an incremental image ...

Thank you for your input, maybe someone else will have something to add.

Realtime protection that I use: Sandboxie (Lifetime) and Avast Free. And on demand: MBAM Free & Macrium Reflect Free. Why would you buy MBAM Pro if you only use it on demand?

... I suspect it won't work in the sandbox. You might need to take the approach of installing it, imaging your system with a standard program like Macrium Reflect, doing whatever it is you want to do, and then restoring back to the prior state. Pete

Re: Cant remove box or terminate prog => starts srv in other

I went ahead and did a restore with Macrium Reflect of the latest clean image, lost a few installs and setting updates, however the Sandboxie issues are not present any more, simply for the reason I have not yet tested to run FTK and Nitro ...
