Re: recommended AV?
I have run Sandboxie as my 'protector' for several years and have yet to have any malware of any kind get past the 'Box.....unless invited out, as Craig referred. At this point I still feel a 'reactionary' A/V has enough Zero-Day exploit potential to make it not worth the trouble. However, I do try ...

Re: Cannot run a 'saved' file in the Sandbox. Why?
Thanks, once again, Craig. Without elaborating here, I don't really know what the default Media Player is. But, your posting is good information; I hope others may benefit....

Cannot run a 'saved' file in the Sandbox. Why?
I download files from Youtube and TWIT, saving them out of The Sandbox, to my Desktop. Then I run a file AT LEAST THE FIRST TIME "Run Sandboxed" . Have yet to have a note that 'bleep you.exe' wants permission to run, but I check them all. Been trying to make myself use @#$%$#$@@$ Windows Ten, and I ...

Re: Passwords in a Browser...SBIE?
Thanks Guys..... Yeah, the contents of my 'Important Passwords' TrueCrypt file only contains five 'business' P/Ws... No need to get too wild about it...

Re: Passwords in a Browser...SBIE?
Well, OK. I guess I'll just keep playing it safe. Not too inconvenient as access to passworded URLs is NOT a daily thing....

AND.......... it was a serious reply of encouragement. With a 'factory' computer I don't even have the opportunity to TRY!
But... I guess Craig has the facts, anyway...................

Passwords in a Browser...SBIE?
My browser can be set to offer saving passwords. I suppose all of 'em do. For a long time I have kept my log-in passwords [for important URLs] in a TrueCrypt file. I decrypt them for log-on, when I need them. I do not let OPERA save them. From my understanding of how Sandboxie works, i.e. copying re...

Re: Can Browser History Escape The Sandbox?
Hi again, Bo... and thanks for the info; all understood. Applications>Web Browser doesn't work for the newer [later than version 12] versions of Opera, so have used Resource Access---Direct Access, for the three book mark FILES in App Data, Roaming, Opera...etc. Works great for all my BM use. Histor...

Delete a 'destination folder' ?[SOLVED]
In the course of learning, and downloading files from URLs, I wound up creating as Destination Folders a personal folder in the c:User main folder, as well as a Truecrypt Volume, which, when mounted I called Drive T. Both these have 'outlived' their purpose and I would like to delete them, using 'Re...

Can Browser History Escape The Sandbox?
[WIN7-64bit / SBIE 5.10 / OPERA 38] I recently changed default search from Google to Bing. For my purpose the page presentation is more appealing and my searches are pretty 'basic'. Of course, to do that I had to 'Disable Forced Programs' and open '38 outside the 'Box. Change search default, close b...

Re: Vivaldi
As an OPERA user, I think I recall Vivaldi was created by some OPERA employees that left OPERA. Suggest you get OPERA 38, which works great...through Sandboxie 5.10
