Re: SBIE 2314
Thanks! I thought that "Hide" has a temporary effect only, but it is permanent - good!

SBIE 2314 [SOLVED]
I have blocked "Start/Run Access" for all but a few programs, and I have set NotifyInternetAccessDenied=n NotifyStartRunAccessDenied=n However, when a disabled program tries to start, I'm still getting SBIE2314 notification. I thought that SBIE1308 would be raised instead (and not shown due to Notif...

Re: Immed. Recovery of files that shouldn't be recovered at
Sorry Craig, but your curt replies are far from being informative. Are you saying that Sbie first unfolds all %%-variables and replaces all substs with their real value before applying the rules? Like e.g. in (if the %Desktop% and M: are properly set) %Desktop% -> M:\Desktop -> C:\Users\xxx\Desktop ...

Re: Immed. Recovery of files that shouldn't be recovered at
I have played with the sandbox settings, though I don't understand the reason why the problem occurs, I found its cause. One of the disk letters is subst M: %USERPROFILE% When I comment out the corresponding line in Sandboxie.ini, the problem disappears. However, Firefox does not access the disk usi...

Re: Immed. Recovery of files that shouldn't be recovered at
I have created a New Sandbox while copying the settings from the original sandbox (by selecting in the drop-box). The behaviour of FF haven't changed in the new sandbox, Sandboxie is still offering to recover files that it should not. Craig, is this what you asked me to do? Concerning your second qu...

Immed. Recovery of files that shouldn't be recovered at all
SBIE 5.06, WIndows 7 Pro x64, Firefox 38.5.2 My problem is the following: For Firefox, Sandboxie opens the Immediate Recovery dialogue and offers to recover files that should not be eligible for Quick Recovery at all. I tried to simulate this behaviour from a (sandboxed) file manager, but without su...

Re: Sandbox configuration for no-internet
Thank you. I'll try it anyway, perhaps it will be sufficient for my apps. :-) I understand that SB tries hard to isolate the sandboxed apps from the outer world, but in fact I don't know what limitations it lays on the sandboxed apps. I think most apps need only to be able to execute their own compo...

Re: Sandbox configuration for no-internet
unrestricted sandbox configured? Unrestricted? Not sure if I (we) understand. By being sandboxed, you're already "restricted" to the confines of that box. What do you want to restrict/not restrict for a particular app while sandboxed? The "unrestricted" description is confusing. Sorry for confusion...

Re: Sandbox configuration for no-internet
That was not my question, see my original post. My question is, whether it is possible to prevent all restrictions of sandboxing inside a (specially crafted) Sandboxie sandbox, and what is necessary to do that. The purpose is to let a program run as if not sandboxed, only with prohibition of interne...

Sandbox configuration for no-internet[SOLVED]
I'd like to create a sandbox that prohibits internet access to boxed apps, but otherwise it would allow to run the apps unrestricted. Of course, I could do the same by configuring a firewall, but using Sandboxie seems simpler to me. Can be such an unrestricted sandbox configured? What do I need to s...

Re: Sandboxie Control crahes due to large SQLite files
TSVNCache emerges as a Firefox sub-process after openning a Browse/Open/Save dialog, even though the same process already exists outside of the sandbox. When I kill it, the flood of the alert messages in Sandboxie ceases, so it is really this process that causes the alerts. SQLite3 should be able to...

Re: Quick Recovery and Immediate Recovery not working correc
I wasn't able recreate this particular issue back in Sept when it was reported. I understood that. What information from me could help you? Could the difference between mine and your system be e.g. in that I have my HDD partitioned into multiple partitions, and I'm creating my files on a non-system...

Re: Quick Recovery and Immediate Recovery not working correc
Now I have the paid version of Sandboxie 5.06, and the Automatic Recovery functionality is still unreliable: I have reset the sandbox (a modified copy of the sandbox from the original report), and with a file manager created a couple of files in a directory eligible for automatic recovery. But nothi...

Empty files cannot be Quickly recovered
I use Sandboxie 5.06, Win7 x64 I have "D:\Temp" added among the Quick Recovery folders. When I place there an empty file, it is not offered in the Sandbox > Quick recovery dialog. Whenever the file has a content, it is offered there. The same happens with empty folders. This behaviour may be a probl...

Sandboxie Control crahes due to large SQLite files
I've got the latest version 5.06 of Sandboxie and Win7 x64. When I open a "BrowseForFile" dialog in Firefox, Sandboxie Control starts a flood of alerts saying that: SBIE2102 File is too large to copy into sandbox - wc.db [Internet / 83581176] SBIE2223 To increase the file size limit for copying file...
