Re: Can't find my program!
Hi, I downloaded a program to test within Sandboxie. I had the installation run sandboxed & it installed fine. The install asked to put an Icon on the desktop & I said OK. I went to execute the program & couldn't find the shortcut so I looked in my sandbox & ran the ".exe" file which I said to run ...

Re: An all encompassing Sandbox?
It's easy to set up Sandboxie using forced folders to account for all currently used drive letters, but what about one or more USB devices that may be attached to system in future (for which there is currently no known drive letter), can I make a sandbox that will capture executions from these driv...

For reasons similar to the ones that you mention, I like to use portable apps as much as possible. Two common sites that I visit are Portable Apps and The Portable Freeware Collection . However, my installation approach is a bit different than yours (not saying it's better, just different) and so I ...

Sandboxie's purpose is to isolate and contain programs, not to tell you if they are malware-free. Your resident anti-virus program is a tool that will help. Likewise, you can also upload the .exe (while it is still sandboxed) to Virustotal to get a robust analysis. Virustotal link: https://www.virus...

The latest version is 3.74. The reason that number is lower than the beta version is explained here: http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=13517

thanks bs1, i'll wait for your posting. I have multiple sandboxes, some used for browsing and some used for testing software. Regarding my browsing sandboxes, I usually want the contents deleted after each browsing session, but there are some occasions where I want to close the sandboxed browser bu...

Sorry for the confusion, I use the following delete command ; "C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner64.exe" /delete "%SANDBOX%" to delete the content. How do you do it? I'm at work now. But later tonight I'll follow-up with more details how I use CCleaner to delete applicable sandboxes. It's my prefer...

Thanks, I got it with the remove/create. With regard to CCleaner you did suggest not to use it; "Don't use CCleaner in the Delete Command setting:..". And than you said you use it to delete content. Is there any reason why i should not use it? I think you're confusing my post with Guest10's. I do u...

Also, to encreas the security I do re-create the sandbox at least once a day. So, at least once a day I terminate all applications, delete the content and remove the sandbox. Than, I create a new sand box with the same name which is always based on a template sandbox. The template sandbox's setting...
