Re: 5.05 Beta Available (latest version 5.05.2)
Just stopped by to say thanks for this update! After updating Windows, the old version (5.04) crashed my system and left me with a defect NTFS file system So I am glad to hear about the fix!

Re: Problems with AVG
Just for the sake of confirming, can you do a manual delete of the SB you are trying to run Explorer/Notepad in? Sometimes, the auto delete may not actually auto delete. I've gotten into the habit of just manually doing it. Manually deleting it appears quite difficult as the sandbox folder does not...

Re: Problems with AVG
I did not delete the contents of all sandboxes, but I tried it with one which is configured to delete its contents automatically (and is actually empty).Craig@Invincea wrote:You've deleted contents from your sandbox as well correct?

Re: Problems with AVG
Using the most current release of SBIE? Yes, I tried with 5.03.3 and upgraded to 5.04 today. When starting notepad.exe or explorer.exe (possibly many other standard Windows programs), the processes are created but the windows never come up. Adobe Flash complains about file permissions when started ...

Problems with AVG
Hello again, I already got support on this thread where the problem was caused by AVG as well and was fixed by adding Sandboxie as an exception to AVG. However, I got a different problem now: Even with Sandboxie added as an exception, when I don't disable AVG, programs like explorer.exe and notepad....

Re: Sandboxie RpcSs: Could not instrument service functions
Thank you so much! This actually solved it! Such a simple trick, why didn't I think of it? I guess this is a valid solution, thank you for your support! I am so glad I purchased Sandboxie, your team does not disappoint!Curt@invincea wrote:Did you add Program Files\Sandboxie to the list of exclusions in AVG?

Re: Sandboxie RpcSs: Could not instrument service functions
Thank you for the quick answer! I would also have your try v5.02RC to address some of the related issues before you disable / remove AVG and try again. The changes in 5.01.11 and 5.01.12 sound very promising. I will try it tomorrow and report here. I guess the builds are stable enough to not think ...

Sandboxie RpcSs: Could not instrument service functions
Hello, I have been using Sandboxie for a few years overall and for roughly 16 months on my Win8.1 machine. It has been working great but since today some hooks and the RPC component don't work anymore. When starting a program in any sandbox, the following messages come up: SBIE2303 Kein Hook möglich...
