MD5 check fails???

I've tried several times to download SandboxiePortable_2.3.0.4 which points to http://zer0dev.com/dld/download.php?id=1
It is failing the MD5 checksum (a7de3f694227bbbafdb4d0b1f95c6546).

Did you update it without changing the checksum or has it been hijacked?

Fame has its drawbacks

Congras Tzuk! Your program is so popluar that malware scum are now hiding under some rock at your place. You may want to put a notice on the homepage warning users of malware impersonators and reminding user to always get updates from your site. The rest of us can help by responding to any posts fou...

Re: Portable Sandboxie

To be able to travel with only an external HD and leave the host computer trace free. Is it possible ? I thougt about licence issues, as the sandbox would make a copy of the host computer programs. Anyway, sandboxie makes a copy of the programs, copy with which you can do anything you want... Searc...

Sandbox entire OS?

Is it possible to run the entire OS sandboxed? "Live CD" versions of an OS load into a RAM disk and never change the actual OS disk. Is is possible to do something similar with Sandboxie? That is, have the sandbox in a RAM disk and run the entire OS inside the sandbox so that when you reboot the sys...

Tzuk 4 President!

Ok, maybe that is a bit over the top but if any politician listened and responded to what the people want half as well at Tzuk the world would be a better place. BTW, Adding full 64 bit support is a major change (in scope even if not in actual code) and deserves a new version number. 3.44 should be ...

Windows XP Mode Clairifications

The Windows XP Mode FAQ does a good job of explaing how to run Sandboxie on Windows 7; however; there are a couple of key points that need to be brought up. 1) Windows XP Mode is not available on Windows7 Home Premium (The version that comes installed on most new PCs). (Why I don't know. I guess Bil...

I'm having the same problems as "guest".

VT-x off = ok on=lockup

Host and client are XP-Pro sp3

Starting up the same vhd using VMWare is fine.

It sounds more like a VirtualBox problem but good luck getting SUN to look into it.

Transportable sandboxes (the boxes not the program)

One of the key things I use Sandboxie for is keeping my registry smaller. So anything I don't use every day is in a sandbox and not bloating the reg files. This also has the advantage of making the program transportable (with limitations). I can copy a sandbox from my desktop to my laptop and use th...

Just as an aside the logs appear to indicate that Roxio is trying to access my MSIE history. Am I reading that correct?

Roxio Creator 8

I'm trying to install and run Roxio Creator 8 from a sandbox. (I use it infrequently and I don't want it clogging up my registry.) I've installed it in a sandbox and rebooted. When I try to run it several processes start then shut down. :o I suspect that a service should be run at start up but does ...

Clone Box

I see the point with trying to clone a multi-GB box.

I guess it would be quite difficult to actually run a sandbox on top of another sandbox to achieve the same effect?

Wild ideas

It has been a wild day so here are a couple of wild ideas that may not be practical. 1) "Clone Sandbox" Problem: Right now if you are working in a "test environment" sandbox and something "goes wrong" (virus, badware, etc ...) you can wipe out the box and your system is safe (YEA!) but then you need...
