Re: Are bookmarks stored while in Sandboxed browser restorab
OK, thanks. Now I know for next time. But for past bookmarks, could I assume I have no access to them at this point?

Re: Making sure I understand how this works
Wow another original username (generalpencil). The history behind mine is interesting but the name itself maybe not. Thank you for your answer. I will then be patient and wait for the package to arrive. I stopped doing anything not 100% legit a few yrs ago, and because of it I could happily say I've...

Re: Making sure I understand how this works
BoxWithSandInside: Wow I love your username. Thank you so much for the information. Here why I asked: besides wanting to make sure I understood everything properly there was another reason. I just reinstalled Windows. All of my software is legal, either purchased or Open Source. However, I am no lon...

Making sure I understand how this works
I'm assuming that a virtual box/drive is created by Sandboxie and all that is run, runs within it; hence why it is safe for nothing ever actually ''enters'' your computer. Assuming I have understood this correctly then this thought came about: When a program is normally installed (no Sandboxie) what...

UNderstanding how Sandoboxie works with an infected file
Assume there is a file with alleged trojans or something, yes a hacked keygen would be a good example. Well I would assume that if I run this keygen with sandboxie I risk nothing, is this correct? Now assuming this is true, if sandboxie suspects this file as well then this keygen file can not be use...

Can keygens be trusted if sandboxed
I know that every once in a while things do get passed Sandboxie (according to the literature read on its website) so running anything that may be infested with trojans and/or trojans are a risk. But outside of this risk, if I understand sandboxie correctly, if one Right-clicks on for example a keyg...

where does dandboxie keep browser history
Hi I use Firefox as my default browser. Being new to this software I noticed that when opening FF (firefox) under sandboxie it opens not the tabs previously under the 'normal' FF but whatever tabs where there when the browser was opened with SB (sandboxie). Anyhow, my FF browser froze for a while wh...

Can known infected files be trusted if sandboxed?
In the FAQ it says, "Sandboxie may be your first line of defense, but it should certainly be complemented by the more traditional anti-virus and anti-malware solutions. These solutions can let you know if your system does become infected in any way. " Knowing the above I wonder to what degree Sandbo...
