Simple Question

Firstly, great program! I find it very useful.

I use Sandboxie to allow multiple copies of Outlook to be open at the same time. The only thing I need is the Outlook processes separated from each other. I want direct, unsandbox disk access and I don't want any programs spawned from Outlook to be new, sandbox versions (opening a web link).

Is this possible? Is there some setting I'm missing?

What I've done:

I've enabled "Resource Access > File Access > Direct Access" for all programs for the "C:\" folder. This doesn't seem to work as files still appear in C:\Sandbox

Hello berbec,

Please have a look at these entries to see how Sandboxie works with Email clients, and how to set them up and test them (this should help you with the location of the files you want to directly modify on your host):
https://www.sandboxie.com/EmailProtection
https://www.sandboxie.com/ApplicationsSettings#email
https://www.sandboxie.com/TestEmailConfiguration
I don't want any programs spawned from Outlook to be new, sandbox versions (opening a web link).
If you open an application in the Sandbox, the links spawned by it will be opened in the same Sandbox.

Here's an old thread that might help:
viewtopic.php?p=10848#p10848

Keep in mind that running multiple instances of a program depends on whether the program allows for it or not. Sandboxie was not designed to bypass software restrictions.

Regards,
Barb.-

I've got the multiple copies of outlook running fine, i was just wondering about spawning de-sandboxed programs.

If it's not possible, that's no big deal. Great program!
