You may say this is job of a HIPS software (i use Comodo Defense+) but no one of them has option an external program to do something with them (becuse that could lead to a vulnerability to the hips, that's what the creators of hips software will say if i asked the about this).
So i suggest sbie to monitor for new exes and when some of them is launched, sbie should ask to run them in or out sandbox and to delete them or not from the list of new EXEs.
[edit] oh im sorry. this was requested two days ago. But my post is more clear so i suggest the conversation about this should be here. Actually this idea came to me exactly two days ago.
Monitor for new EXEs and automaticaly force them to sandbox
In my opinion, yes it is a bad idea. If you want software that constantly pops up questions and asks for permissions, then there are plenty of HIPS that do this and which will work fine alongside Sandboxie. You can use such a HIPS to monitor for unknown programs, whenever you identify such one, block its execution and run it sandboxed. I see absolutely no need to burden Sandboxie itself with popup questions.
