Hello RadarNyan ,

Is that the full message that you are receiving?
Are you able to make any other changes to your Sanbox settings? (For example, add a random template see if that goes thru).
If no, have you made any changes to your Sandboxie.ini file?

Please post a copy of your Sandboxie configuration file
Configure--> Edit Configuration
Copy/paste the contents
Highlight them and click on the "</>" button to format it in the forums.

If you don't have any specific configuration that you want to save, try uninstalling Sandboxie and selecting "No" when asked to keep your settings, then re-install and re-test the behavior.

Regards,
Barb.-

Here's part of my Sandboxie.ini

Code: Select all

[GlobalSettings]

ActivationPrompt=y
TemplateReject=OfficeLicensing
Template=7zipShellEx

[DefaultBox]

ConfigLevel=7
AutoRecover=y
BlockNetworkFiles=y
Template=qWave
Template=WindowsFontCache
Template=BlockPorts
Template=LingerPrograms
Template=Chrome_Phishing_DirectAccess
Template=Firefox_Phishing_DirectAccess
Template=AutoRecoverIgnore
RecoverFolder=%{374DE290-123F-4565-9164-39C4925E467B}%
RecoverFolder=%Personal%
RecoverFolder=%Favorites%
RecoverFolder=%Desktop%
BorderColor=#00FFFF,ttl
Enabled=y

[UserSettings_1D2C031A]

SbieCtrl_UserName=misaki.m
SbieCtrl_NextUpdateCheck=1518599921
SbieCtrl_UpdateCheckNotify=n
SbieCtrl_ShowWelcome=n
SbieCtrl_WindowCoords=386,208,880,448
SbieCtrl_ActiveView=40021
SbieCtrl_EnableLogonStart=y
SbieCtrl_EnableAutoStart=y
SbieCtrl_AddDesktopIcon=n
SbieCtrl_AddQuickLaunchIcon=n
SbieCtrl_AddContextMenu=y
SbieCtrl_AddSendToMenu=n
SbieCtrl_AutoApplySettings=y
SbieCtrl_ExplorerNotify=n
SbieCtrl_SettingChangeNotify=n
SbieCtrl_EditConfNotify=n
SbieCtrl_ExplorerWarn=n
SbieCtrl_ReloadConfNotify=n
SbieCtrl_HideWindowNotify=n

[SBIE2217_TEST]

Enabled=y
ConfigLevel=7
AutoRecover=y
BlockNetworkFiles=y
Template=qWave
Template=WindowsFontCache
Template=BlockPorts
Template=LingerPrograms
Template=Chrome_Phishing_DirectAccess
Template=Firefox_Phishing_DirectAccess
Template=AutoRecoverIgnore
RecoverFolder=%{374DE290-123F-4565-9164-39C4925E467B}%
RecoverFolder=%Personal%
RecoverFolder=%Favorites%
RecoverFolder=%Desktop%
BorderColor=#00FFFF,ttl
DropAdminRights=y
There are SBIE2219 & SBIE2220 follows but I can hide those two from GUI normally. It's just I can't hide SBIE2217 from GUI for some reason, and if I edit Sandboxie.ini manually and add "SbieCtrl_HideMessage=2217" into [[UserSettings_1D2C031A] section, the message would be hidden properly.

Hello RadarNyan,

I can repro. I have made the devs aware.
I will update this thread with any new information I receive.

Barb.-
