Sandboxie fails this test...

MRG tests:
Both Sandboxie and (censored) Pro failed BBC Sim!

What do you think?

I think they should learn what Sandboxie actually is, and learn to use it with a good "security approach":

Sandboxie + SUA + DEP
Windows Firewall + NAT Router
Drive SnapShot (on-demand)

How on earth could Sandboxie pass Sim2 and Sim3?

This is a complete waste of time, I read on Wilders security forums that Sandboxie had default configurations during this test. If that's true this is a total waste of money and time. Someone should really send them via private message or e-mail MRG configuration of Sandboxie with maximum protection!
Than test it, not before that.

I talked to a representative of MRG once, their official stance is they only test apps in default configuration.

I don't know much about MitB attacks but I guess Drop Rights might have prevented Sim2 and Sim3 from working.

Since when using the BBC sim, they closed the browser, they may not have executed the sim in Sandboxie.

It was executed outside the sandbox.

According to the PDF:"a. Downloading the simulator using Internet Explorer to the desktop, closing Internet Explorer and then executing the simulator."

I have to say this is really dumb way of testing Sandboxie, it's much like testing antivirus prevention/detection abilities without any antivirus software application on your computer, bah, I don't know what to say anymore.
