i usually access my web based email account while i'm in IE or FF.
if i open an attachment on my hotmail or gmail email accounts while i have IE in SBIE is that attachment also sandboxed?

Yes.. attachments in your webmail box will be sandboxed. That is the point of this whole endeavor.. keeping us safe during are normal browsing, surfing and downloading. To assure yourself, just look at the title bar of anything you open in your email.. it will have the #'s bracketing the title of the file or app...

Send yourself some email with files zipped or attached.... that would be good experience for you..
