I have fixed the permissions. There aren't any posts in there yet, but we're planning to start tomorrow.

"Feature Requests" section is closed.

Are you going to re-open it or it will stay closed permanently?

When will forum style 'Oxygen' show the date and time of posts?

Once you open any thread, the date and time of posts are not shown.

I won't make any promises on this as I don't have a lot of time to spend tweaking phpbb styles these days.

Hi Alan,
sometimes when I reply to a post, whether with "postreply" or "quota", BBCode and Smilies are OFF.

Bottom left of the editor is:

Code: Select all

Options:
BBCode is OFF
Smilies are OFF
See at my post:

But somtimes, there is no problem with BBCode and Smilies, as you can see in this post.

Can you help, please :?:
Have a nice day ...

Can we please get rid of the "You cannot make another post so soon after your last." thing? I seriously don't have time to wait minutes between posts, annoying like hell. :x

I haven't been able to figure out what is going wrong. It may be a bug in the forum software.

I haven't recreated the problem but I understand it from your description.

alan@invincea,
thanks for your answer.

As I have seen / read meanwhile, even other members have the same problem.

You can indeed times pay attention when reading the forum.

Sorry, if my english is not so good / clear.
Have a nice day ...

I looked at a couple of the posts where the BBCode and smilies were not enabled. It looks like in some cases, the 2 "disable" checkbox options in lower left are selected as the default. But, I don't know why this happens. If you uncheck them, they should be reenabled.

Uwe, it looks like you are using the subsilver2 board style. I set mine to that style, in user ctrl-panel, disabled smilies and BBCode by default, and disabled displaying these by default as well. I have attached a screen shot of what you should be seeing. Have you tried switching to another board style?
