Hi, is anyone familiar with HPeprint. I have to use this method of printing on my windows 7 laptop, because I cannot maintain a wireless connection with my printer. The wireless connects when i first turn the printer on then stops after 5 minutes
If i create a document using the web based word online, I have no problem printing wirelessly ( if i have a connection ).
So as a workaround I use the HPeprint which emails the document to the printer, using this method i never lose connection to the printer. However HPeprint will not work under Sandboxie. I get various results, the webpage will freeze, or i get a not responding message from windows, or worse still the document gets stuck , pending.
The only way then to delete the document is to stop the spooler service, go to C\windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\ and delete it from there
I am using SB 4.20 registered
Thanks in advance

Re: HPeprint
You could try and open OpenFilePath=C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3\
But be cautious, that opens a possible security hole.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I don't want any holes. So i will leave it alone. CheersCraig@Invincea wrote:You could try and open OpenFilePath=C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3\

I'm testing to see what we can come up with.

Re: HPeprint
Another option is to use Google Cloud Print. It doesn't need your laptop to talk to your printer directly. I use it often. It works with "cloud" enabled printers and regular, "dumb" printers connected to your laptop:

Tried that today and google cloud worked perfectly, many thanks for that suggestionCraig@Invincea wrote:Another option is to use Google Cloud Print. That's very kind of you, please don't go to too much trouble on my account. Sandboxie has always been to me , a unique stellar program, the odd niggle is absolutely nothing compared to the security it providesCraig@Invincea wrote:I'm testing to see what we can come up with.

If i had a printer that functioned as it was supposed to, i wouldn't need to use HPeprint in the first place.
