Sandboxie Installer [SOLVED]

When I download the installer, the file is simply named SandboxieInstall.exe without any reference to the version number that it will install.

When the installer is launched, does it simply connect via the Internet to the Sandboxie website and download the current version, then install it?

The reason that I ask is that on occasion I must install Sandboxie without an Internet connection available yet. If the installer does not include the files that it will install, then, obviously, I cannot do that.

The installer you downloaded is for both, 32 and 64 bits. If you want the separate version, you can get the installer from this link.

I doubt we need internet to upgrade. But you ll need it for activating the license if you are using the paid version.

@Bo : yes, I know that the installer is for both 32-bit and 64-bit. But that has nothing in particular to do with my question, which is:

Are the files which constitute the current version of Sandboxie included in the downloaded SandboxieInstaller executable?

It is not easy to ascertain from the size of the .EXE file. Sandboxie is not a large program, it just creates sandboxes and monitors the processes that run in them.

When you start the SandboxieInstaller, you get a window showing the name and version in the Title. You can install Sandboxie without internet and do an offline activation: https://www.sandboxie.com/OfflineActivation

The link provided by Bo [https://www.sandboxie.com/AllVersions] contains the versioned files, as well as their hash (which will allow you to double check you downloaded the correct version).
