3D camera spinning bug
There is some interesting bug with games launched in sandboxie.
Bug was detected in two games:
1. Minecraft (1.4.7, 1.5.2) - player camera.
2. Mount and blade (mod Prophesy of Pendor) - free camera after death.
Bug: Camera rotating very fast on any mouse move in one direction and strive to take the position at the top direction or bottom direction.
When mouse is not moving - camera not move, but is mouse move camera drive crazy once more. I search some info in internet and found many solution with "plug off our joystick", but I have not joystick. I checked games run them without sandboxie - and they run without bug.
Also I found same type bug with another Virtual Machine, not Sandboxie.

Sometimes I have problems with my Hackintosh and whenever I need help, the folks of tonymacx86 invariably fix whatever I messed up. I love this forum and this thread is to archive a solution I came across for a problem I found absolutely maddening. I'm posting this in hopes that if someone else runs into this issue, a search will direct them to the solution, as I personally searched for many, many hours trying to fix this without any satisfaction.
The problem
Many people who builds Hackintoshes like to also run Windows. Some of those people use Parallels to do so and some of those people also play Windows games through Parallels. The issue is that any game with a 3D, mouse-controlled camera absolutely freaks out when running in Parallels. This issue extends to first-person shooters, MMOs like Star Wars: The Old Republic, World of Warcraft, Everquest, Guild Wars, etc., and 3rd person 3D games like Grand Theft Auto, The Witcher, and many others. Further, it affects many non-game 3D programs that still have a 3D camera, such as Blender.
The freakout is often referred to as "mouse spin" and it's essentially a hypersensitive mouse issue. Imagine if you were trying to control a 3D camera with a mouse that is literally exponentially more sensitive than your usual mouse. It's impossible to simply turn down the sensitivity, too, so it just renders all of these programs completely unusable.
The solution
If you are plagued by "mouse spin," there is hope. I had this problem for months and I had originally written it off as just the way things were going to be, but the Steam Summer Sale of 2012 convinced me that it would be an excellent thing to fix. Lo and behold, after a second round of many hours of solution-hunting, I reached a fix.
1) Start up Parallels and get your Windows session running.
2) If you're in Coherence mode, exit Coherence mode. This is absolutely crucial. You'll want to be in windowed, non full screen mode.
3) With the Windows window active, click Virtual Machine (at the top of the screen) > Re-install Parallels Tools. Your Windows session may need to restart after this.
4) After the restart, go to Virtual Machine > Configure > Options > Advanced. Set "Smart Mouse" to "Auto" and check the box to "optimize modifier keys for games."
5) Go to your Mac's system preferences (Apple icon > System Preferences, if you don't have a shortcut) and click on Universal Access. Check "Enable access for assistive devices."
Poof, problem solved. Feel free to run Windows in full-screen or in windowed modes, but coherence will not work for this issue. Yes, for some strange reason, coherence plays a major role in making the problem pop up again.
I hope this helps any poor souls out there who've had the same problem and been unable to reach a conclusion like I was! Enjoy, and happy gaming.

I have checked options of Sandboxie, and foud one options that probably can help me "Permit programs in this sandbox to manage hardware device configuration" (http://www.sandboxie.com/?RestrictionsSettings) but this options is missed in last version of Sandboxie (4.04 32-bit).
My System is Windows XP SP3 32-bit . Java last version (Version 7 Update 25) (need to play Minecraft).
Have anyone any idea how to fix this?
p.s. Sandboxie - is greatest thing I evere seen! Author - thank you for this brilliant work!

I have the problem on two PC and four 3D games, but DPI scaling is at 100% (pc1 : win7x86, pc2 : win7x64, tested with sandboxie v4.02, 4.04).tzuk wrote:These mouse quirks are a known problem with Sandboxie version 4. Thanks
I see. Does this mouse weirdness happen only when going full screen, as far as you can tell?
There is the setting OpenWinClass=* in version 4.04 that is known to fix this, as explained here:

I don't know about DPI scaling, I don't setup anything except mouse speed. But even on default speed bug the same.tzuk wrote:These mouse quirks are a known problem with Sandboxie version 4. No. Game started in widow mode - camera bug, Game started in fullscreen - camera bug. Game stared in fullscreen/window mode and then switches to window/fullscreen and there is still camera bug.I see. Does this mouse weirdness happen only when going full screen, as far as you can tell?
I can confirm this camera spinning "feature" in Sandboxie 4.4.0.0 and Windows 7 64-bit pro.
There is a difference when installing inside Sandboxie and outside. If I install inside and run, the camera spins. If I install outside sandboxie and run sandboxed, it works. At least one game I tried (FEAR2).
I tried the "*"-tip, but it did nothing for me.

Very strange about "install difference" because install under sandboxie and without sandboxie shall no difference. File copy and registry merge - only think that do setup program. May be something special in system components. Try minecraft. Very interesting will your system get round this camera bug.
No, sorry. I remembered that I just recently messed with Minecraft a bit for this problem:
http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=15970
And that I did not see any issues with the mouse going crazy. So, I didn't try to install it again.
I am however still interested in figuring this out. A related discussion is going on here:

Minecraft spinning world thing
Upgraded to windows 8.1 which forced me to upgrade sandboxie to 4.06 (from 3.xx).
I experienced the spinning world thing on both full screen and windowed mode.
The solution OpenWinClass=* found in http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=15837 got it working.
