[.04] SBIE2205 Service not implemented: Clipboard Bitmap

Post by Domochevsky » Wed Nov 13, 2013 12:34 pm

SBIE2205 Service not implemented: Clipboard Bitmap (fmt 0008)

As the title implies. This is a new issue. It did not exist before this version of sandboxie.

Encountered in: Win7 64bit Home Premium.

Software used: openCanvas 5.5.19 Trying to copy and paste a layer (or anything, really) will result in this error message and nothing happening in the program itself.

Edit: I just tested it again. .01 does not have this problem, making it unique to .03

You're right, this was added in version 4.07.02/.03.
Are you sure this worked before, or did you just not get a message about it and not notice that it didn't work?

This definitely worked before. It's a basic function, like copy and paste, for images. I straight up can't work without it.

Yeah, I see this message when I copy from MSPaint outside sandbox to MSPaint in sandbox, but pasting still works fine.
Maybe MSPaint tries multiple approaches to copy a bitmap and your program tries just one thing.
I'll look into it.

Please check if version 4.07.04 fixes this problem.

 I am running Win 8 Pro 64 bit and have the same problem with SBIE2205 as described by Domochevsky. I get this error with every opening of Sanboxie. I have gone to Sandboxie Control and deleted the sandbox, but the very next time I open Sandboxie, it comes right back. This is a new issue as I have never seen it before the last couple of updates.
