Portable Firefox 16.0.1/Manual Flash Plugins 11.4.402.287

Finally managed to use Flash Player plugins 11.4.402.287 on my portable Mozilla Firefox 16.0.1 running sandboxied without any freezes and crashes. Tested and working on Sandboxie version 3.74, Windows 7 SP1 32-bit.

Solution :

Just need to copy 2 files from your Flash Player installation :

(I installed Flash Player in Sandboxie using Run Sandboxed and copied the files from the sandbox before deleting them)

1. NPSWF32_11_4_402_287.dll

2. FlashPlayerPlugin_11_4_402_287.exe

Copy these 2 files to your portable Mozilla Firefox plugins folder, eg. C:\...\FirefoxPortable\Data\plugins

Now, you can carry and use your portable Mozilla Firefox with the latest Flash Player version plugins.


With this working solution, there is now no need for any mms.cfg to disable Flash Protected Mode.

Also, this file, flashplayer.xpt, is no longer required which many related webpages still say you need to copy this file to the plugins folder.


Confirmed working too on Windows 7 64-bit and Windows XP SP3 and many thanks to jsteam for sharing this solution on the last post found on this long forum thread !
