The "Home" is the flavor of Win 10 that is being pushed out as an upgrade to 7, 8.1 users at this time and the version we are currently working with....

Just thought I would correct you on this, Both windows 10 Home and Pro are free upgrades depending on your current OS.
for example if you had windows 7 ultimate , you get windows 10 pro as the free upgrade

Same here. 5.01.7 is looking good. Plugin container is not crashing, no need to disable anything.

Java JRE based apps still not working.

In the latest version the process does not auto-terminate anymore after start but process seems hanging and the app shows no window.

Confirmed with beta 5.01.7 both Firefox 39.0.3 and IE11 (W7 64 bits), with http://www.chess.com/play/computer the java-app says Loading.

Sorry, I must correct, 2 previously mentioned Java-based apps ( JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA and Advanced Web Ranking ) are working again in 5.01.7 on Windows 10 PRO !!!

I'll give it a run today. I spoke to one of the Devs, since this was a system level change, it could affect Java in a way....that is possible, this is why I'm asking if it works in .6 and fails in .7 But I will check through out today.

Just took 5.01.7 for a spin with Palemoon Goanna with extension uBlock Origin Dynamic filtering and so far no flash/plugin crashes with flash protection on; not disabled. Lookin' good so far. Win 7 64bit.
