So far, not much luck with Win10. Sandboxie is basically inoperable.

Trying to launch Firefox, none of the Sandboxie services launch with it:

SBIE2204 Cannot start sandboxed service RpcSs (C00000E5)
SBIE2204 Cannot start sandboxed service DcomLaunch (-4)

Other programs either don't launch at all, or close after prompting a 0x000000e5 error.

Fresh installation with a new configuration brings the same result. Nothing even opens in a sandbox.

I got the same errors but 5.01.6 works on Windows 10 VMware.

Since I downloades Windows 10 I upgraded Sandboxie to 5.01.6 (32-bit) Sandbox Web Browser
does not work anymore. Run any programm sandboxed is working. What do I do wrong ?

SBIE does not support the default Edge browser. IF you are clicking on "run browser sandboxed" icon, it will not work. This is detailed from the top of the v5 Beta page.

Please change your default browser in Win 10.

There is a lot of issues with games and Windows 10. We are aware of that. There is not fix at this time or ETA. I suggest you run the game outside of a sandbox if you need to run it until a fix is worked up.

Would you happen to be using FF browser? There is a pesky font rendering issue in FF that we are working on.

Apparently fonts rendering problem is not limited to FF only, it is present in other applications as well, and as I mentioned before, alien skin exposure 7 sandboxed under Windows 10 is not usable at all, fonts are huge & not correctly displayed ..

I have windows 10 installed and I upgraded my licensed copy of sandboxie to 5.01.6. When I open Firefox I get SBIE2203 failed to communicate ETC.

I'll wait and see if you could solve this would be appreciated in the mean time
I use a simular programm which I like also. But I prefer Sandboxie because I have a life time
agreement . I am a Dutchman and English reading is not my best part of the language

I'm not sure if it's because of mis-configuration (since I've even tried a clean install) but no sandboxed program can access my audio devices. Opening the "Playback Devices" window, I get a "No audio devices detected". This problem only happened after I've updated to WinX. Is this a known issue?

After a few days I ended up going back to 4.20. Got tired of apps randomly vanishing. This happened in both PaleMoon and Skype. No errors, just poof- gone. In addition with 5.01.6 Skype seemed to think it couldn't detect my sound card. Sound still worked but my outgoing voice was 'choppy.' Since returning to 4.20 both these problems are gone so it's def 5.x specific :-/

You know what I used your fantastic programm for years but I think the programm I found now suits me better. I mean your programm is for the more intelligent people. Don't worry to solve my problem.

Any idea of an eta for when this is coming out?

I'm using sandboxie to run multiple instances of CSGO to idle, but in this version (the only one that works for Windows 10) the game won't launch. No error, no nothing, it just launches for a sec and then decides to close. And no, it is not any other problem, I narrowed it down to sandboxie.

Sandboxie still does not work with Opera 17.12. In the screenshots seen the problem with the font.
