Tzuk:

Do you have a commercial use license? If so, can you provide pricing and quantity discount information? Thanks!

non-commercial use

"These versions of Sandboxie are provided free of any charges for non-commercial use only. You may not redistribute the software without the express consent of the author."

What is your definition of "non-commercial use"?
Does "commercial use" include --
- using the software on any company computer?
- using it on a company computer but NOT as part of a process that generates revenue for the company? e.g. software development, software testing, etc.

Great software. Thanks for developing it.

What is your definition of "non-commercial use"?
Commercial use is any use of the Sandboxie, that includes unrealistic expectations for the level of technical support.

In other words, if you want to base your IT security around Sandboxie, for a thousand workstations, that's fine with me, but don't expect 24/7 phone support.

So using Sandboxie on a company computer, without expecting 24/7 tech support from you, and without payment from me, is acceptable within Sandboxie's licensing agreement? Is that correct?

I see I wasn't that clear, so allow me to apologize for that, and rephrase.

You can't use Sandboxie commercially. That would be a violation of the license. The license clearly says non-commercial use so you can't use it commercially.

But you can try it, and if you like Sandboxie, and can live with the level of technical support that I offer, then you can contact me in private and we can discuss the terms of a commercial license agreement.

Does the end-user license permits the use of sandboxie in a non-profit organization?

Thanks.

If management of IT assets in your organization (whether commercial or non-for-profit) improves, or becomes simpler and cheaper, thanks to Sandboxie, I don't think it's unfair to ask that you support further development.

Organizations using Sandboxie on multiple workstations should license the use of the program. Pricing is fair.
